May 16th (Drew's POV)

"Hey, Gabriel, Mrs. Ryan," Erika said as she came in.

I jumped up from the couch and kissed her, "Hey, babe. Let's go upstairs."

I was so glad that Erika was here! I practically wasn't let out of the house

since Aunt Darla was here. But now that she's gone I'm back to Erika all the

time.

"With your parents here?" She whispers as I pull her up the stairs.

"Nothing naughty, Miss Inappropriate," I stick my tongue out at her.

She throws her head back in laughter.

I close us in my room and we lay on the bed making out. She was kissing my chest

when I finally fell asleep.

"The dog is out!" Gabriel called and woke me up. Outside my door I could hear

his barking and snarling. Stupid dog.

Erika shuffled closer to me. Breathing in the scent of her hair, I fell asleep

again.

I woke up several times in the night; each time from Nanuk's growling. But as

soon as I did, Erika would kiss me or cuddle closer and I would fall right back

to sleep.

There was one time that I woke up- around 4- and Erika didn't kiss me. I felt

Baby, you were sleeping but I didn't want to wake you. So I just went home.

Love, Erika

Ps- You're kinda cute when you snore ;)

Great, I snored! I never snore...

I listened, it had to be true that Erika was gone since I didn't hear Nanuk

growling at all. I lay in my bed, staring into the dark at the ceiling for a

while before I decided I had to take a piss and got up. As soon as I touched the

door knob I smelled something odd. Something that didn't belong in the house it

smelled a little like rust and fish. As I opened the door and started down the

hall, the smell only got stronger. I opened the bathroom door and went straight

to the toilet. As I was taking a leak, I realized that the smell was in here. It

came from the shower. I inched closer, it looked like there was fur in there.

"Nanuk?" I whispered.

The lights flicked on. I screamed and then jumped backwards, tripping and

falling over the towel rack. The shower was covered in blood. Splatters and

pools of it. N-nanuk was strung through the shower- Dead. I don't know how or

who; especially how. The dog's tail was literally strung through the shower

faucet and he was hanging. His mouth open. His tongue-

Oh, God. I vomitted but swallowed it. No way could I get closer to the shower.

-his tongue was pulled out and lying on the floor. A steady drip of blood

trickled out of his mouth and the faucet head was creaking every time his body
