A-N- So OMG! How could I be so stupid to not put this one up?! It took me forever to write and I dont know how i forgot about it. I am so sorry!

Dear Diary,

Eekk! I am so excited about the opening of my store in three days! For so long I've wanted to find something normal to be passionate about, and this is it! Of course, I had to put my own little twist on it. Hence the idea of all natural products.

Home made lotion and soap, hairspray that doesn't damage the environment, natural perfumes, candles, beauty products, etc. The point is: I am so excited for the opening!

But, naturally, I couldn't wait to get home and see Gabriel and my kids.

I was just finishing putting a coat of lime green paint on the walls when I heard the door open.

"Wow, it looks-"

"No!" I yelled, jumping up from the floor and covering Rhoan's eyes.

"What?!" He yelled back annoyed.

"You can't see it until its done!" I explained, tying a scarf over his eyes and making him face the door. He grumbled a response.

As I was closing the paint can and cleaning off some brushes, I noticed it was 7 in the morning. I also noticed that Rhoan was wearing dark jeans and a black button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He obviously didn't get that dressed up to come visit me.

"Are you just leaving that club you went to?" I asked.

He shrugged, "Yup."

I eyed the back of his head, he must have felt it cause he then said, "Don't worry, I didn't cheat on Darla. I wouldn't do that. I was just having fun is all. You vampires aren't the only ones who can party til the sun comes up ya know."

I grabbed my coat and led Rhoan outside so I could lock up the door. I took my scarf from his eyes and we climbed into his truck. Ten minutes later we pulled up in front of the house and got out. We took the stairs up to the porch together, and when I went to open the front door...it was already open. I looked at Rhoan, he shrugged, wearing the same scared look that I had. I pushed on the black wood and the door swung open.

"Hello?" I called out.

From under the couch there came a whimper. I got down to my knees and looked, Nanuk was cowering in fear under there. I left him alone and stood back up.

Drew and Nikola's screams pierced through the quiet house. They sounded hoarse and shrill, like they had been screaming for hours.

"Where the hell is Gabriel?!"

"I have no idea. This is kind of creepy, Jo."

"You're telling me. I have to go take care of the kids, can you take a look around and make sure everything is okay?"

He nodded and walked towards the kicthen while I walked up the stairs. As I walked down the hall, I took quick glances in each room. I don't know what I was looking for; an intruder, another vampire, Jane even though she was supposed to be dead. The screams of my children were too much though, I went to their room, the door was slightly ajar. I pushed it open and looked at Nikola; she was standing in her crib, holding the bars, her face was red and tear-streaked and she was screaming something while looking towards the opposite side of the room. I looked at her brother who was also holding onto his crib bars, his face also red and tear streaked, he was looking towards his closet. I walked into the room and started trying to soothe them.

"Shh, babies. Shhh, everything is okay. Calm down, slow down."

Instead of calming, their screams get more fierce.
