A-N- This one is dedicated to you, Marie. Without you, I never would have written this character or this story. You've been with me for the entire time on this one- and you've helped so much. Thank you for asking me to make another character for our site. Out of that simple question: came over 100 chapters of an epic tale. This is all thanks to you <3

May 28th (Gabriel's POV)

Nikola ran over to Rhoan, screaming that he was hurt. I would be surprised if he

wasn't. I couldn't believe that Kali stood right here in front of me- smiling as

if she wasn't killing people or as if she had never been killed. I had killed

her. I swear that I did! I had scattered her ashes to the corners of the world

and made sure they would never be reunited. But somehow they were. The 'how'

wasn't important- all that mattered was that she was here; seeking revenge on my

family. She had said that if Drew were more like me then she would have left us

alone. That meant she still loved me in her own warped, twisted way. She was

desperately obsessed.

"Kali," I yell over the sound of the wind, "why?"

Her purple eyes lock with mine, still not giving anything away, "Because,

Gavril, you're mine. I brought you into this world and gave you the power to say

'no' to your family. We combed through Europe shedding more blood in one night

than Jack the Ripper shed in his entire life! We don't just have history

together- we ARE history." Her face seemed so sad. I remembered those days as if

they were the human ones; we lured young men and women into our stage coaches

and tore at the layers of clothing to reach skin. Blood flowed- from body, to

eyes, to cup, to soul.

"And then you went and killed me," she whispers. She stabs a wooden cross

through my stomach and her eyes are filled with delight.

"Hey, Johanna?" Kali lifts her hand and Jo is pinned to the wall, "'Legend will

become your reality'. Isn't that what you told Gabriel so he could kill me?

Let's try that again." Steam starts curling from Johanna's ears and she screams

in pain as she claws desperately at them to free herself. She eventually throws

silver earrings to the floor. Her ears are red and blistered. Vampires don't

like silver...

"You're turn," Kali kisses my chest and then backs away. A low burning starts at

my chest and works down to my stomach. Soon the pain blisters and intensifies. I

felt like a human being nailed with hot pokers. I tried to pull out the cross

myself but the pain had made me weak.

Vampires don't like stakes or crosses...

Drew runs over and tries to pull the large cross from my body but Kali snatches

him and throws him to the other side of the room. The second Nikola leaves

Crash's side, Kali snatches her and throws her to Drew. Iron bars appear around
