"The dean said what?! Are you serious right now? Because it is NOT beneath me to walk right into his office and tell him to suck it and we can find you work elsewhere."
Kristina was fuming, which Parker was prepared for. What she wasn't prepared for was for her to be more mad at the dean than her mother, not that she wasn't grateful. They needed to mend fences, but her usually adorable girlfriend was currently a tiny raging ball of fire.
"I am definitely serious. I'm annoyed by it too, however I would appreciate it if you didn't act impulsively on this one," Parker replied. "I'm sure there is another way to go about this if we just think on it for a bit. One that doesn't involve you, or myself for that matter, ending up in Pentonville preferably."
Kristina pulled out her phone. "Give me five minutes." She told her before walking out of the room. Give or take a couple minutes, she came back in with a smile on her face.
"There's my girl," Parker said. "What was that about?'
Kristina just kept smiling. "What do you think about having a second Thanksgiving dinner at my dad's house?" She asked.
"You want me to have a family dinner with the Godfather of Port Charles?" Kristina nodded her head super fast, still giving her that super cheesy smile that she knew would get her what she wanted. "Sure! I can't imagine this going wrong at all." She said but she wrapped her arm around Kristina's shoulders and started walking them down the stairs. "When is it?" She asked. "It's not until tomorrow, so we have all day to do whatever." Kristina replied.
"Okay good," Parker said. "First things first. Care to join me for a lunch date? I don't think your mother would die if we left for a few hours would she? I have something I want to show you."
"I'm sure she'll be fine, just let me go tell her. I'll meet you in the car." Kristina told her giving her a kiss and squeezing her hands. "Be right out."
They made it to Perks and ordered their food before Kristina finally gave into her impulses and asked Parker what she wanted to show her.
"You are going to have to wait, little miss impatient." Parker joked. "I'll show you after we leave here," She took Kristina's hand. "But I'll tell you now, you'll either love it or hate it."
"Well do you love it?" Kristina asked and Parker shrugged her shoulders. "I may or may not. It all depends on if you can get past some things or not."
"You are confusing the crap out of me right now, but okay. I'm sure if you like whatever it is, then I will too."
Their order was ready so they went ahead and ate. When they were done, they split the check (neither one of them okay with the other paying in full) and they got in the car. Parker drove for about five more minutes and then she parked. Kristina remained confused as they sat in the driveway of a decent sized house.
"Who's house is this?" Kristina asked. Parker tapped her fingers nervously on the steering wheel.
"It's ours if you want it. Surprise?" She replied and she watched Kristina's jaw hit the floor.
