Kristina found Sam waiting for her when she pulled in to their mother's driveway.  "Hey you!" She was greeted as she stepped out from behind the wheel.  "Hey! Thanks for doing this by the way. I hate to bring you into it." Kristina told her as they walked up to the door. "No need to apologize. I'm completely aware of how overbearing she can be. I got your back." Sam joked, elbowing her younger sister in the ribs. "You ready?" She asked. "About as ready as I'm ever gonna be." Kristina replied, opening the front door.
"Mom?" They said in unison when they walked into the house. They found Alexis on the couch typing away on something that was more than likely work related. "Hey girls. Sorry just wrapping this up for work," she said typing a little more before folding up the laptop. "What brings you two by? And simultaneously at that. Is something wrong?" She asked.
Sam and Kristina sat down with Alexis in between them. "No mom," Kristina replied. "But we do want to talk to you about something." She began. "Parker and I are going to get married next weekend." She explained. "Next weekend? Already?" Alexis asked. "Isn't that a little soon?"  Sam decided it was a good time for her to intervene considering both her mother and her sister had the same look on their faces.
"She's telling you because she wants you to be there mom." Sam told her. "Parker's parents will be in from Oregon and they are rather old, you have to admit. They love Kristina too and they want to be able to see the ceremony as well."
Alexis rubbed the temples in her forehead. "I guess I can see that. I can also see that you didn't come here to ask, you came to inform." She stated, looking at Kristina, who in return flashed her an apologetic smile. "Obviously I'm going to be there. Even when I don't agree with your decisions, I will still do my best to support you in any way I can."
Kristina leaned in and hugged her mother. "Thanks mom. I really don't think I could go through with it without you there. It's a very important day for me." She told her as she held her tight. Alexis pulled away and brushed the hair out of her daughter's face. "I just want you happy, healthy, and safe. As long as you are all of those things, I won't interfere."
"Aww," Sam interjected. "Look at you two! All having a moment like you are. I feel like we live in a soap opera." She joked. Alexis looked at her oldest daughter. "Soaps have less drama than we do, but we could give them a run for their money. Maybe we should look into reality tv," she joked.
After everything was cleared up, Kristina promised to call when things were more set in stone. She promised to keep her mother in the loop of all the wedding business and then she and Sam left, who was needed at home to try and maintain their 2 children. Apparently Jason was losing that battle.  "I'll call you tomorrow though," Sam told her as they both got into their own vehicles and took off back to their very different lives.

When Kristina got home, she found Parker asleep on the couch with her laptop open and her glasses still on.  She walked over and removed her glasses for her and placed them on the end table, and then did the same with the laptop. She covered her up with a blanket and decided to let her finish her nap.
She finished up a few more phone calls in the other room. She called Sonny, Molly, Michael, Kiki, pretty much everyone she could think of that she would want to be there. They all glady excepted the invitation. Then she only had one more call to make. She pulled out her phone and dialed the number.
"Hello?" A man' s voice said on the other line. "I do not recognize this number. If you wish to speak to-" Kristina interrupted him. "Spinelli? It's Kristina. I got your number from Sam this morning." She told him.
"Oh yes! How nice it is to hear from you! Hope all is well with you! How is domesticated relationship life treating you?" He asked sincerely. This is why she loved him. "Everything is great. Actually, I had a question for you." She said. "And what can I help you with today?" He asked.
"I was wondering," She began, "If you would like to officiate my wedding? I was going to invite you and your family anyway, but then I remember you were an ordained minister." She explained. "We don't want to have the typical wedding in a church. We would like to have it outside in the park. Would you be interested in the job?" She asked him. Spinelli had no hesitation with his answer.
"Well of course I will officiate your wedding. It would be a great honor," he said in his perky voice. She could literally hear the smile in his voice. "Parker is a very lucky woman." He stated proudly. Kristina laughed into the phone. "Well I don't know about that," She told him. "I think you may be a little backwards with that one."
"Nonsense. You are an amazing young woman. You are kind and helpful, smart and hilarious, gorgeous and witty. All combining to make one of the best people I've ever gotten the joy of knowing. You, Kristina, are a genuinely good person, and you my friend, deserve love and happiness just as much as the next person." He told her. Kristina could tell he meant every word he was saying and it took all she had not to start crying.
"Thank you Spinelli. You are quite the catch yourself," She told him. Just then she heard a thump in the living room. "I have to go for now, but the wedding is on the 26th. It's next week. I'll see you then?" She asked him. "Of course," He replied. "Until then." He said, hanging up the phone.
Kristina walked into the living room to find Parker sitting on the floor, hair all ruffled and an angry look on her face. "What happened?" Kristina asked. "I don't even want to talk about it." Parker replied in a grumpy tone. Kristina laughed and fixed her lover's hair for her. "You sure can't seem to stay put on a couch can you?" And got the most sincere 'Go to hell' look she'd ever gotten from the girl sitting in the floor. Yup. She was gonna marry that girl.
