After the ceremony wrapped up, Sonny pulled the newlyweds aside. "So Kristina tells me that you two don't have a set destination for the honeymoon spot yet? If you don't mind some company," He said, pointing at Mac, "I have a safehouse you two can use. Now obviously I can't go into specifics about the location, but I can tell you it's beach side and fully furnished with everything you need...That is, if you want to use it. " He told them. Kristina was pulling on Parker's arm like a child. "Please? Oh please can we use it?" She whined and her wife laughed. "If you want to go to the beach house, then I will not object." She replied with a laugh.
"Thank you Sonny. That's very generous of you." Parker told her father in law. "It's really no problem," He told her. "Consider it a wedding present." He said with a smile. He turned to face his daughter. "You two are gonna have to deal with Mac. He's due for a break now that Jason is back. He can stay in the guest house and you guys can use the main one. " Mac noticed everyone looking at him and he walked over.
"Is everything okay boss?" He asked Sonny, who nodded his head. "It's all good Mac, just explaining to these lovely ladies that you will be going with them on their honeymoon. I also told them you'd stay out of the way and in the guest house." He explained to an agreeing Mac. "Yes sir. I will stay out of sight unless I feel my presence is needed. They won't even know I'm there."
"We better not!" Kristina said sternly. "Just because my dad's your boss, doesn't mean we won't be doing 'honeymoon-like' things." She stated and Parker, Mac, and Sonny's face went red. "Okay!" Parker interrupted. "So when do we leave?" She asked Sonny, who looked down at his watch. "I have a car that can take you to your house to pack a bag and then to the airport from there and then you can have Mac here," He said, patting the bigger man's shoulders, "take you to my chopper. Much faster that way and it keeps the location more....discreet, if that makes sense." He told her.
Kristina wrapped her arms around her father's neck. "You truly are the best daddy in the world." She told him, holding him tight. "I love you!" He chuckled and spun her around a little. "You're my princess," He said, turning to face Parker. "And now it's YOUR job to watch out for her. We all know how impulsive she can be, and you as much as I hate to say this, are older than her. " Parker winced a little, but only out of habit. She knew he didn't mean anything wrong by it and that he was just telling it like it is. "I got her, sir." She told him with a smile. "And I got them!" They heard and they all turned to face the forgotten Mac who had already pulled the car around. The flight was nice. They didn't have to wait for service, being as it was Sonny's private jet and all. All their drinks and snacks were free too. Kristina downed another airplane shot. Parker noticed, of course.
"Are you alright honey?" She asked her new wife. "I thought you had gotten over your issues with flying?" Kristina shook her head. "I think I'm just better at keeping it together than I was before." She admitted. Parker reached for her hand. "It's okay," She assured her. "I used to fly back and forth from Oregon pretty regularly. I promise, there's nothing to be scared of."
Parker reached for the remote to the tv that was on the plane. She'd never been more thankful for Netflix than right now. "Look... How about this?" She asked, putting The L Word on for Kristina, who smiled and nodded her head. That seemed to do the trick, so that's what they did until they landed. They landed at the undisclosed location about an hour later. When they did, both women were more than ready to exit the flying barrel in the sky at this point. Parker looked around a minute before she realized where she was standing. "Wait... Is this the roof of the house?" She asked, looking at Mac, who just smiled. Kristina, who was also smiling, responded for him. "Yes, and no." She said, starting to bounce up and down. "This is the roof of the guest house," She explained. "THAT is where we're going." She told her, pointing her finger at a much larger house just barely noticable where the treeline met the sand.
It was definitely a beach house, however, with its front row view of the ocean. It was a little darker, more like a cabin style to blend in with the woods, but it was gorgeous. "Oh my god," Parker said. "Seriously, it's even better than I thought it would be." She said as Mac led them down through the guest house and over to their honeymoon spot. Kristina nodded her head. "I haven't been here since I was a kid." She told her wife. "I wonder if he's changed it any since then. If not, then I apologize ahead of time." She said as Mac put in the pin to let them in the house. Parker stopped Kristina before walking in.
"You've been here before?" She asked and Kristina shrugged. "It's been a long time, but yeah. Why?" Kristina replied. Parker squeezed the shorter girl's hands. "Nothing really...I just remember your father saying something about it being a safe house. I got the impression that it wasn't really used for a vacation spot." Kristina was developing a nervous foot tapping habit. "You already know who my dad is, so I guess it's safe to say that you would be aware that he would have obtained a few enemies along the way. My dad is a good man, and he put a stop to a lot of bad things in Port Charles. People can say what they want about him, but they don't know him like I do." Kristina told Parker with sad eyes. "Well, when he put a stop to all the guns and drugs coming in through the docks, people got pretty pissed. We came here a couple of times growing up. I liked this one. It doesn't feel like a safehouse, well other than the fact that we are the only people on this island." She explained with a smile, pulling the other girl inside.
Mac popped into the conversation. "Sorry to interrupt Ms. Corinthos, but I'm going to be heading to the other house now. You are familiar with how the house coms work?" He asked Kristina who nodded. "Thanks Mac! And please feel free to let us know if you are going to be grilling over there," She joked. He bowed sarcastically. "I'll see what I can do about tomorrow. I promised the boss I'd stay out of the way. I can at least do as I'm told for the first night." He told them. "Have a good night you two." He said, and walked out of the back of the house, shutting the door behind him.
"So what do you think? Want a tour? I think I remember where everything is." Kristina asked grinning from ear to ear. "I know it looks huge, but there are a couple of rooms that are off limits, so we won't have to worry about those. But look!" She said, pointing out in front of her through the glass wall. They could see the waves hitting the sand and it was breathtaking.
"It's beautiful," Parker told her in awe. "Not as beautiful as you," Kristina told her with a smile. "Um.. look here, Mobster Princess. That's my cheesy line." The taller girl said with a laugh, leaning down for a kiss. "Whatever," Kristina told her, still smiling into their kiss. Right now, have something else to show you." Parker laughed. "Oh really now?" She asked. "Yes ma'am." Kristina replied, and she led her up the stairs.*Warning: Explicit content in the upcoming part of the honeymoon segment.
