Before taking them to the boat, Max handed Kristina an envelope. "The boss has instructed me to give this to you Ms. Corinthos. " He explained. Kristina looked inside and found it was full of cash. "American currency doesn't work here, and he wanted to make sure you two were set on your honeymoon. He also wanted me to inform you that the locals know that you are here and he expects that you'll be treated well." Kristina looked at Parker. "Here that? They remember me." She beamed. Parker rolled her eyes. "Thanks Max," Said the blonde. "Like her ego wasn't big enough already." She said with a laugh. Max shrugged his shoulders and smiled. "Hey! I only do what I'm told." He told her with a smile. "Are we ready to go?" He asked and they both nodded. "Alright then, it's only a 10 minute boat ride. We should be there in no time." He told them holding the door open to exit the house and then resetting the alarm. The weather was nice, and Max kept about 10 feet behind them as they walked to the marina down the beach.
"This is amazing." Parker said, she and Kristina walking side by side in the tide. Kristina took her hand and squeezed it. "Isn't it though?" She replied, smiling out into the nothing. "It's so quiet here and words can't even cover how beautiful this is." They both looked at the waves off in the distance. "I love it." Parker agreed, kissing her wife's hand. "Is that the boat?" She asked, pointing ahead at a boat coming into view. Kristina nodded her head. "Yes ma'am. It's really nice to be honest. I don't know if boat would be the correct term exactly...." Kristina told her. When they finally made it to it, Parker immediately understood.
"I'd definitely say that calling it a boat was an understatement," She said looking at what could have been a house on water. "I think yacht makes a more accurate description." She told her wife with a smile who had cocked her head to the side but agreed. "I never thought of it that way, but I totally see what you mean." Kristina replied.
They let Max help them up onto the tiny ship and they went down below the deck while he went up to the top to steer. It was pretty nice down there in the living quarters, for lack of better terms. There was a couch, a bed, a tv, a kitchen, a bathroom. Pretty much everything one would need if they were to stay there. Kristina walked over to the couch and sat down as she heard the engine come to life. "You might want to sit down babe," She instructed. "This thing has some pull to it if you aren't used to it." Parker looked confused. "What-" She began and was thrown into Kristina's lap as the boat started moving rather quickly. "Oh." She answered her own question and removed herself from the lap of the smaller girl. "Sorry about that." She told her. Kristina chuckled. "I tried to tell you!" She said, just messing with her. "Don't worry about it." She told her scooting over and making room. "You can sit on my lap anytime you want." She said, winking at Parker. "Oh my god, you are a dork." Kristina nodded, "True, but you already knew this before your married me sooooooo..." Parker kissed her briefly. "Yes, yes I did. And in part, it's why I married you." She said with a laugh.
It wasn't long before they reached the island. It was closer than Kristina had remembered and they docked within 5 minutes. "We're here!" Max called from the deck, and both women made their way to the top. When they got there, both of their mouths dropped. It was a smaller island, but there were places to eat, dance, drink, shop. You name it, they had it. There were palm trees everywhere and the locals were obviously very active considering they all seemed to be on the beach. No sooner than they had stepped off the boat were they approached by a man and woman.
"Ms. Corinthos! It's been a long time!" The man said, reaching for her hand to shake. She took it and shook it. "Do I know you?" She asked, as politely as she could. "You do, or you used to. Like I said, it's been a while. Good to see you Max!" The man said. Mac shot the man and what Kristina and Parker assumed to be his wife a smile. "This is Mr. and Mrs. Brooks," Max told them. "They are good friends of your father's." He explained, looking at Kristina before turning his attention back to the other couple.
"Ms. Corinthos has recently gotten married and is currently on her honeymoon." He told them. The woman reached out for Parker and Kristina's hand to shake. "I'm Bethany," she told them. "You two are a lovely couple. Kristina, I'm sure you hear this all the time, but you've grown so much since the last time I've seen you!"
Kristina thought back to the last time she was here. She suddenly remembered the people in front of her. "Oh my god, Bethany! If memory serves me correctly, I do believe you used to babysit me when I was on the island." She said and Bethany's face lit up. "Yes! You remember correctly. It seems like just yesterday you were running around in polka dotted dresses and pig tails-" "OH GOD," Kristina interrupted but it was too late. "Pig tails?"Parker asked, smiling at the red face of the woman she loved. "Didn't see that coming." She said with a laugh and Bethany spoke again. "She was the cutest kid, but definitely a handful. She's hard to say no to, and when you did it really didn't matter." Parker chuckled again. "Some things never change I guess." She said squeezing the hand of her wife.
"Not that it wasn't nice to catch up, but we're on our way to dinner. Maybe we'll run into you again before we leave?" Kristina butted in, pulling on the arm of the taller girl. Bethany laughed but got the hint. "Alright Kristina, I get the point." She told her with a smile. "Please tell your father that Brent and I said hello." Bethany turned to shake Parker's hand once more. "It was nice to meet you..." She began before realizing she hadn't caught her name. "It's Parker," Parker replied, taking her hand and shaking it. "And likewise." She said before the other couple turned and walked away from them.
As soon as they had went out of hearing distance, Parker spoke to her wife. "So...Polka dots and pig tails huh?" She asked. Kristina glared at her. "I literally both love and hate you right now, just saying." She replied. Parker just smiled. "Partly why I married you love." The blonde told her kissing her hand. "Now where are we going to eat?"
