They next week was chaos, unlike the week before. Parker and Kristina suddenly needed to plan a wedding, pick out dresses, and  Kristina still had to pick out the wedding band she was going to give Parker.
"This is gonna be the death of me," Kristina said with a deep sigh, looking up catering companies online at the desk her girlfriend usually used to grade papers. "I have no idea how to pick out this kind of stuff." Parker walked up behind the girl sitting at her desk and started massaging her shoulders. "It's gonna be fine, honey. Why don't I talk to Carly about the catering? Or you could substitute coffee for alcohol and maybe have some of your employees work the wedding?" She suggested.
Kristina shrugged her shoulders. "I mean, I guess we could do that." She said, thinking of her newly found advantage of running her own store. "They could just get double pay that day or something for working outside of the store. I think I have some job interviews to do tomorrow. I'll keep the manager at the store to keep an eye on the new people while we're at the park, and we can just take the more experienced with us. I'm sure my dad has some help for us too." She explained.
"Alright then. Now that that's settled, what do you want to do about dress shopping?" Parker asked. "I don't think we're supposed to do that together are we?" Kristina shook her head. "Nope," She replied. "Mom wants to go with me, but I think she said something about Sam wanting to ride with you. Is that okay?" Kristina asked her. "Works for me. I don't mind hanging out with Sam for a while. When are we going?" Parker wanted to know.
Kristina looked at her future wife with a forgive me kind of face. "I actually think we're supposed to go today?" She told her. "What?" Parker asked. "I just love how you fill me on these things Kristina." She said, running her fingers through her own hair. "I know, I know. I'm sorry! It really did just slip my mind, I promise." Kristina told her, getting up from the desk to face her partner.
"It's fine, I just wasn't prepared. Nothing to apologize for." Parker replied, kissing the smaller girls nose. "Just try and keep me in the loop when it comes to life altering decisions." She said. Kristina rolled her eyes. "Life altering decisions?" She said with a laugh. "Oh babe, come on. It's a dress, not the wedding date, which by the way is the day after Christmas." She informed her.
Parker smiled at her bride to be. "Anything else you need to tell me love?" Kristina shook her head. "Not that I can think of right now." She looked at the clock. It was already 1. "Well, except that Sam is supposed to be here around 2. When she gets here, I'll head over to mom's."
"I supposed we should start getting ready then." Parker said as she went off into the bedroom. "Wouldn't want to be late for an event that I was unaware I would be attending!'' She playfully yelled from the back of the house. "Yeah, yeah! I got the point!" Kristina yelled back closing the laptop. "I hope you aren't in the bathroom yet," She spoke loudly into the hallway. " "Why?" Parker asked. Kristina made her way into the bathroom where Parker was getting ready to go with Sam. "I have to pee, and this bladder waits for no one."

Bridal shopping was exhausting. Alexis had made Kristina try on at least ten different dresses already and none of them had been right on her. "Mom! This is taking forever. Can we just pick one and go? I don't even care which one at this point.'' Kristina whined to her mother in the dressing room.
"No! This is an important day Kristina. You need to feel as beautiful as you are, and if you aren't feeling gorgeous in a wedding dress, then it's not the right one." Alexis told her before calling over one of the ladies who helped with the dresses.
"Is everything alright?" The lady asked, looking at Kristina. "That dress looks nice on you Ms. Davis. Will you be taking it home today?" Kristina shook her head. "No ma'am, but I do want to know if you have anymore options? Perhaps with more silk than-" She looked down at the incredibly frilly dress she was wearing. "Lace?" She asked.
"Just one moment. I think I have something you might like." The lady said, disappearing only for a few seconds to return with another dress. "This is the last one we have in this style, but it looks like it might fit you. Try it on? Lemme know what you think." The lady told her before walking out and giving them some more privacy.
Kristina put it on and immediately knew it would be the right one. "Oh my god, this is it. I'm getting this one," She told her mother, looking in the mirror. Alexis nodded in agreement. "I have to admit. My little girl certainly looks all grown up in it." She said with a smile. "Does this mean it's time to check out now?" Kristina quickly put her clothes back on. "Not exactly, I have to get one more thing. I saw it when we came in." She explained, walking out of the dressing room and returning with a see through, plastic box. Alexis rolled her eyes. "I don't suppose there's anyway I can talk you out of that could I?" She asked. "Nope. I'm getting it regardless." Kristina replied with a smile. "Now let's go check out." She told her, dress in one hand, box in the other.
