They hadn't even made it out of the driveway before Kristina thought she would have another go at trying to find out about the big surprise.
"So what is it?" She asked the person driving, who by the way had obviously taken on Kristina's eye rolling habit.
"You'll find out when we get there. It's not a surprise if I tell you is it? Honestly Kristina," She said with a laugh. The pouty face her girlfriend was giving her wasn't working this time. "That face may be cute, but it's pointless to use on me right now." She told her, reaching for her hand to hold over the middle console. Kristina, although slightly annoyed, grabbed it.  "I hate not knowing," She said. "It's driving me nuts, just sayin'."
"Just a little longer. Oh and I have to make a quick stop," Parker told her. "Oh come on. I'll be in and out I promise." She told the frustrated girl as she kissed her hand.
They pulled into a parking lot to a building that Kristina wasn't familiar with. "Where are we?" She asked. Parker shook her head. "Don't ask. It's only part of the surprise. Be right back." She told her and got out the car.
Kristina literally had enough time to turn on the radio and find a song she liked before parker was back, carrying a somewhat decent sized, flat, white box.
"What is that?" She asked in curiosity, reaching for it. Parker moved it out of reach.
"Not quite yet, you can see what it is when we get there." Parker explained.
"UUUUUUUUGH," the other girl replied. "Fine. Can we go now?" She asked as Parker's phone dinged, making it known that she'd received a text.
"Yes, everything is set now and ready to go! Shall we?" Parker asked as she grabbed for Kristina's hand again and put the car in drive.
"Yes ma'am," She practically squealed.  "I've been ready, in case you couldn't tell."
Parker snickered. "Yeah, because that hasn't been noticable at all." Kristina playfully smacked her arm. "Who's fault is that? You've been teasing me all morning!"
"Okay okay! Let's not attack the driver if you want to get there in one piece," She replied with a smile.  "Good point... I give! Get us there alive." Kristina joked back.  Before long they were in the Metro Court Parking lot.
"Is the surprise here?" Kristina asked. Parker nodded, package in hand. "Something like that." She replied.
They made it to the lobby before Kristina ran into her mother.
"Mom? What are you doing here?" She asked as they made her way over to Alexis. "Oh I'm just meeting with a friend," Her mother explained smiling at her daughter. "I'll catch up with you two a little later okay? Have fun you too, but not too much fun." She said, eyeballing Parker, who immediately threw up her hands in surrender. "Wouldn't dream of it Alexis. You have a good time too." She said as he girlfriends mother walked off to another table to wait for her friend.
It turned out everyone was there, from Sonny and Carly to Sam and Jason. Molly, Michael, Kiki, pretty much her entire family. It took her a minute before she noticed, but when she did she had to ask.
"I know it's totally unlike me, but did I forget someone's birthday or something?" She asked as she and Parker walked up to the register.  "No honey, it's not anyone's birthday," She got the cashier's attention. "Parker Forsythe please." She said and he gave her a key.
"Thank you," She told him and she looked at Kristina. "Are you ready for the big surprise?" She asked as she guided her girlfriend to a familiar room.
"Oh my god. Is this the room where we.. ya know... IT first happened?" Kristina asked. Parker grinned. "Do you mean had love sex"? She asked and Kristina busted out laughing. "Okay, I'll go with that."  Parker put the key in the door and unlocked it.
When they walked in, Kristina was speechless. There were all of these roses everywhere. On the floor, on the tables, on the bed. It was beautiful.
"What is this?" She asked, stepping away from her lady to look at the flowers better. "This is beautiful." She said. "So are you," Parker replied.
It seems while Kristina was absorbed in all of the beauty, Parker had gotten the gift out of its box and leaned it up against the wall. When Kristina turned around, she all but fell on her face when she saw Parker on one knee and a large canvas  that simply said: 'KRISTINA WILL YOU MARRY ME?'.
