This week has been... Odd. I've been throwing up almost constantly and my boyfriend Shawn has been begging me to go to the doctors. I havent really agreed, but today i finally made an appointment.

"I can go by myself. I'm fine. Really Shawn" i argued. "Fine fine. Just call me when your done" he raised his hands in defeat. "I will" i said kissing his cheek, grabbing my keys, and heading out the door.

I honestly can't think of anything i might have. The flu? A virus? I have no idea.

I pulled up at the doctors office, and they took me in right away. I told the doctor all my symptoms and i watched as he tried to analyze them. "Taylor, your pregnant" said the doctor with a smile on his face. Im...... Pregnant??? How was i supposed to tell him?!

I thanked the doctor, paid, and left. I can't believe im actually pregnant! I mean im happy, like really happy. I knew Shawn would be too! He'd been wanting to have a baby for a while now.

I drove home, the nerves surging throughout my body. How was i really supposed to tell him? I started to think, and finally came up with the best idea.

I drove to the store and got a pregnancy test, then headed back home.

"So what did the doctor say?" I got questioned as soon as i walked through the door. "He said to rest and test my temperature later. Can i have some soup?" I asked him, faking a fever. "Of course! Rest up babe." He said kissing my cheek and heading into the kitchen.

After about 10 minutes, he came back in with a hot bowl of soup. I hope my plan works. Its gonna be really good.

I finished up my soup. "Im gonna go check my temperature now" i told Shawn, heading to the bathroom. "Alright. Make sure to let me know, because if it raises, i'll take you right to the hospital" he said concerned. I nodded and headed to the bathroom.

I shut the door and immediately started to rip the pregnancy test open. I did what i had to do, and read it. It was positive. The doctor was right.

Okay now half my plan was over. Now for the most important part.

I walked out into the living room and saw Shawn sitting there, watching tv. "Hey babe" i said walking up to him, pregnancy test in my hand. "Yes?" He questioned, turning around. "I can't quite read this thermometer. Can you tell me what it says?" I asked handing him the pregnancy test.

I watched as a huge smile plastered on his face. "Oh my god" he whispered. "Im gonna be a dad" he put the test on the table and stood up. He ran to me and picked me up. "I love you Taylor. And i can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, raising our beautiful child." He kissed my lips. That was just the start of our beautiful family.
