Kim Taehyung, your high school crush, someone you had always watched from afar. You didn't make an effort to speak to him, you never had a reason to. He was always so happy around his other friends and whenever you got close to him, your heart started racing and you'd end up walking past him with your head down, cheeks a firey red, your feet taking you a fast as they would go.
"First day." You stood outside the doors to BigHit ent. A company who had contacted you after seeing your dance videos on YouTube. "A new place to work at, a chance of redeeming myself. A chance of showing my teachers that I wasn't just some girl." You spoke. Trying to convince yourself not to just turn on your heel and walk away.
With that you entered the building.
I can't leave now, they've seen me.
You thought to yourself as you walked to the front desk, signing in and receiving an ID badge.
"You're just helping our boy group today, did you memorise the dances we sent you?" She asked. You nodded mindlessly, understanding but not really paying attention. This place looked rich, and they got in touch with you.
Your mind was full of thoughts. "Please follow me this way." You followed the female along for a while until you reached the doors to a room where you could hear the faint thumping of music from inside. You opened the door and saw seven, fairly sweaty, boys dancing. The other males along the sides of the room grumbling in distaste.
"It's so sloppy!" One of them yelled. "What's happened?"
You shut the door behind you, causing attention to be drawn to you. You turned bowing your head.
"Sorry for interrupting, I'm (Y/N). I was employed to help get the boys back into shape."
"You're here then, we were beginning to think you weren't turning up. These are the boys you're meant to be getting back into shape." The male that had just yelled at the seven males now stood in the middle of the room taking a quick breather.
"What song are they going through now?" You looked up at the male who was beside you.
"Fire, they're just off if you get me." He huffed. You nodded.
"Boys, take five and watch." You put your bag and jacket on the floor, connecting your phone to the speakers and finding the song. You handed your phone to a nearby male. "Press play when I give you the thumbs up please?"
He nodded and you walked to the middle of the room, taking a deep breath and focusing your eyes on your reflection in the mirror in front of you. You took a deep breath once more before giving the thumbs up and he started the music.
You let muscle memory flow through you as you danced to the song.
"The next one was Blood Sweat and tears!" Someone called out and you automatically changed to that song.
"Yah Taehyung! That's where you went wrong!" The male who greeted you yelled. "Your footwork was slightly off."
Taehyung...
You hadn't heard the name in so long. You finished the dance, panting lightly and you looked up at all the seven boys who had their eyes glued on you.
It couldn't be him, right?
