Taehyung // Voice

Taehyung was sent out to scout with his pack on the first year his change occurred. Apparently there had been sightings of a young female wandering around the woods.

He followed his pack, this scout being in their human form and not their wolf form. Following their noses to where the scent split off.

"I'll go this way!" The fifteen year old Taehyung yelled and verged off through a thicker part of the forest, following the scent as it grew stronger and stronger.

That's when he noticed a thin, frail, girl crouched beside a berry bush, picking the berries off and eating them.

"So you're the girl who's been wandering the woods..." he spoke softly, looking at the girl. She jumped at the sound of the voice, a small whimper barely passing her lips as she fell onto her backside. "I'm Kim Taehyung, are you from another pack?"

The girl furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, not quite knowing what he meant by pack.

"Wait, so you're human?" He asked. She watched with fear in her eyes and Taehyung sat in the dry dirt in front of her. "I'm from a pack, but we don't hurt anybody as long as they don't hurt us. Please don't be afraid."

She watched him with weary eyes.

"Do you have a name?" He asked her quietly. She nodded. "What is it?"

He expected her to speak, not to use her fingers to write out her name in the dirt.

It read and Taehyung flashed his box-like smile. "That's an awesome name! Can we play for a little bit Nina?"

Her eyes widened hearing this and from how kind he was being to her.

Once the duo had played until the sun began to set, Taehyung smiled.

"So how old are you?"

She held up ten fingers and then added an extra two.

"Twelve?" She nodded. "Well, we have a room with us, so why don't you come with us and have something proper to eat?"

She hesitated when she noticed his outstretched hand before taking it gently. Taehyung grinned and lead Nina to where his pack lived.

Nina woke up, curled into Taehyung's wolf form on the forest floor like always and she grinned at this, running her fingers through his fur to wake him up. A low grumble of happiness vibrating through his chest as his eyes opened wearily.

His body fluently changed human, and they both sat up, the fire that was lit in the middle of the circle had long gone out and Taehyung wrapped the old blanket around the two as the cold, fresh air of an autumn morning nipped at pieces of their exposed skin.

"Sleep well?" Taehyung asked, his voice deep and grumbly. She nodded. "So did I."

"Taehyung, can I talk to you?" The pack leader asked, Taehyung nodded. Leaving Nina's side to stand and follow the leader.

Nina, after ten years of living with a pack, had her hearing grow sensitive. The pack had also realised that Nina just didn't talk - not even to Taehyung whom she trusted with her life.

"Taehyung, we have this mission to carry out. You know it's dangerous, so say your goodbyes to her now whilst you can."

Nina's eyes widened at this as Taehyung nodded solemnly and headed back to her. He hugged her tightly, unable to deny the way his heart skipped a beat at the embrace. He kissed her forehead before heading to where the rest of the pack was waiting.

"N-No!" She cried out. "Don't go!"
