WARNING: Mentions of DEATH, sort of torture? Gory, language.
Namjoon had been friends with you since childhood, although they did grow apart a few years ago. You had always watched over him though, glancing at him from across the room, walking the same way he did to go home even though you knew it took you an extra five minutes that way.
You noticed though, that he soon stopped walking that way and when you looked into it, you realised he was dating a girl that you didn't care for the name of from your senior class. Your blood boiled and soon after you found out, the rest of the school found out.
You sat in your bedroom, fingering the old grubby piece of paper from your childhood that was written on in Namjoon's childish handwriting at the time mentioning that you two would be best friends forever and get married when you were both old enough. You laughed softly, throwing yourself back on the bed. Your anger bubbled more, knowing that this random girl that he probably didn't even know properly had taken your spot of this happening.
It had been two weeks since they had started dating, and every day you had gotten into school before anybody and slipped the notes into her locker, you were determined to get Namjoon back at whatever the cost. You hummed innocently as you watched her face pale from your locker a few doors down. You hid your smile before heading to class.
On the way home, you had decided that she had been with him long enough. You had everything prepared, so you followed her instead of Namjoon for a change, and when she went down a quiet and dark side street is when you covered her mouth with the cloth as she crumpled into your arms. You grinned and transported her back to your home and into the basement, thankful for your parents extended business trip.
You sat there, waiting for her to wake up. The basement lit up by a single candle and she woke-up with a start, screaming into the cloth you had tied around her head to gag her.
"Calm down, I won't do anything to harm you if you do what I say." You smirked, enjoying the venomous tone you produced and her eyes widened as she watched you. "Namjoon is mine, do you understand?" She simply stared at you. "Listen, I kidnapped you with ease and with no guilt, I'm pretty sure I can carry out my notes with just as much ease."
She nodded weakly.
"I'm glad you understand, but for you to understand the extent of what I mean, I won't let you go for two days. In those two days, I'll leave you to fester here in your own piss and shit. With no food and one drink of water at midday." You spat. Her eyes widened again, shaking her head as the sounds that left her sounded like a beg as she began to cry. "Too late for begging, you shouldn't have gotten with Namjoon."
With that you blew out the candle and walked upstairs, locking the basement door with a key as the muffled screams echoed around the house.
A day had passed and Namjoon approached you in school.
"Have you seen her?" He asked, and you decided to play the innocent card.
"Seen who?"
"I know you have her."
You simply shrugged and walked off, as your back was to him, an evil smirk pulled at your lips. "I honestly don't know what you're talking about Joonie."
"Come to my house after school. We'll talk there."
So that's where you went, he dragged you past his parents and straight up into his room. He simply stared at you. "You're wearing her necklace."
"It's just coincidental that I have the same one." You sat on his bed, cheeks flushed slightly as this was the closest you had been to the male you were undoubtedly in love with.
"Where is she?"
"She's safe, for now."
"Let her go Y/N, I'll split up with her if that means you don't harm her." He begged quietly, his eyes dropping to the floor. "Please..."
"She'll be home by midnight as long as you keep your promise."
--
You were beyond angry, you were absolutely furious. The girl who was pale and sickly after being released had clearly not gotten the message and neither had Namjoon who had the girl wrapped around his arm as they walked through the corridors of the school.
You grinned as you walked home, you had followed her again but this time she wasn't being let off so easily.
"I warned you." You spoke quietly from behind her, pulling the kitchen knife from your hoodie pocket. "But you didn't listen."
"I-" Her sentence was cut off by her blood spilling from her neck and covering you as her body hit the floor. You picked up the lifeless body and carried it to a nearby dumpster and you threw her in carelessly.
You then took the backstreets to Namjoon's house, you watched his parents leave the house before entering. "Namjoon."
"What do you want?" He turned, facing you and his eyes widened. "Why are you covered in blood?"
"I told you, that she would be unharmed if you broke up with her." You grinned. "You didn't listen."
"You're messed up." He walked backwards, bumping into the table behind him and realising he had nowhere to go to get away from you. "Why would I date you?"
"You promised you'd marry me." You produced the note from your pocket and he gulped. "But since you won't do that, I guess we'll just have to spend the rest of the afterlife together instead."
"You don't have to do this-" Tears slipped down his cheeks.
Within seconds you had slit his throat and tears slipped down your own, lips curled up into a sad smile. "We'll be together forever." She whispered and you soon plunged the knife into your chest as you sunk to the floor next to his dying body. His eyes held yours.
"Y-You're a monster." He spluttered coughing up blood before the life left his eyes. You smiled softly.
"No, I'm your girlfriend." You whispered, resting the note in his bloodied palm, and resting your palm on top of it. "Forever and-"
