Hoseok // Full of doubt

Kayden hummed softly, noticing her boyfriend's low mood, he hadn't been his chirpy, outgoing sunshine self in a few days. She sighed softly, her fingers hovering over her phone keyboard. Hoseok's name at the top as she looked at the lack of texts they had done today.

'Hoseok, what's wrong?' She texted with a stronger sigh. She looked at her workbooks that needed tending to, the homework she should be doing.

'Nothing, what makes you think something is wrong?' He replied quick.

'Tell me... Please?'

She got a phone call a few minutes later, and she answered it as she span at her desk.

"Why did you choose me?" His voice cracked. "Out of every boy who liked you, who crushed on you-"

"Hoseok." She spoke firmly.

"You chose me, why?"

"Hoseok. Take a deep breath for me." She spoke softer, she head him take the breath, even from this side of the phone call. "Do you want to know why I chose you? Because you're dashingly handsome." She smiled softly, slipping into her shoes. "You never fail to make someone laugh if they're in a low mood, and you always make sure people are happy." She grabbed her jacket and headed downstairs. "You're really kind."

She grabbed her keys and headed outside, bracing the cold autumn air that was changing into the winter air that nipped at her nose.

"I'm not... Compared to you who's smart, beautiful..." His voice cracked a little once more.

"You are, you're smart too. You're also beautiful." She smiled and walked towards Hoseok's house. "You have an amazing personality... You never failed to make my heart flutter when I see you..."

After listing more and more things off about why she chose him, she grew closer to his house. She opened the gate and headed up the path to the front door.

"And I love you. Now let me in so I come hug you until you feel happier."

"Wait what?" His voice filled with shock.

"I'm outside your house, it's cold. Let me in." She heard the footsteps up to the front door and it opened, Hoseok stood there with slightly puffy eyes his arms wrapped around himself. His eyes widened seeing her stood there.

"Y-You..." He stuttered, causing her to smile and he opened his arms that were hugging himself to hug her. She stepped inside the house and hugged him softly.

"I also chose you because I love you, silly." She smiled softly. She heard him intake a sharp breath, his head resting on top of hers.

"I love you too Kayden." He mumbled softly, a small smile growing on his lips.
