Jimin // Dangerous Love Spin Off //

You watched as the kitten basked in the sun, lazily playing with a yarn of wool. The rest of the boys were enjoying the paddling pool and sprinklers you had recently bought for the heatwave currently occurring.

"Are you sure that you're not wanting to go outside?" You asked the kitten softly, internally you were dying to go out and tan but unfortunately your conscience wouldn't let you leave the kitten inside alone.

"I don't like water." He huffed gently.

"You don't have to get wet." You reasoned gently. "You can sit under the tree... you can bask in the sun..."

"No." He huffed. Jimin had been in a mood for nearly a week now, ever since the heatwave started.

"Jimin..." You pushed yourself off the sofa, the leather sticking to you in the heat. You shook your head slightly before kneeling beside the kitten, your hand gently rubbing the base of his ears. A small purr resonated in his chest before he sat up rather suddenly and turned so your hand was no longer tangled in his black hair and at the base of his ears.

"Go away. Go outside." He huffed.

"Jimin..." You frowned, it hurt you seeing any of the boys in low moods an the way he was acting now reminded you of how he first was on the street when you found him. "What's wrong?"

"I just..." his tiny hands balled into fists. "Everybody seems so happy with each other. I always get left out when it comes to hot weather."

"Jimin..." your voice broke slightly and you hugged the frowning kitten. "How about we go outside to the shade of the tree, far away from all the water with some ice cream and a book?"

He paused at the idea.

"And whilst I read you the book, I'll pet your ears?"

His tail flicked with excitement.

"You'd do that? You'd sacrifice playing with the others to spend time with me?"

You nodded, a small smile on your face. He grinned, his eyes turning into crescent moons, and his arms coming around and wrapping around you tightly.

"Thank you!" He cried out. Your heart swelled at his actions, you left a soft kiss on his forehead before getting up.

"Now we should go before it gets too cold~" You sang teasingly - that was the fastest you had seen the boy move in that entire week.
