1. Enemies?

Alec's POV
My mind was controlling me as I almost passed out in the halls of the Institute. The pain was unbearable, too much and I was falling apart. When you lose someone, especially your finance, you'll be devastated. "Alec? Earth to Alec? Hello? Are you okay? Alec?! Alec...? Alexander, hello?? Alexander Gideon Lightwood? ALEXANDER GIDEON LIGHTWOOD!" My sister screamed, making me return back to normal. "Huh? By the angel Izzy, what happened?" I asked.
"You kinda were passing out..."
"What?"
"Are you okay? Should we cancel the meeting?"
"I'm fine. Let's get this meeting over with"
"Alec-"
"I said I'm fine!"

Third Person POV
Isabelle didn't buy it, so she called the one and only person who could give Alec the comfort he needs.

After the meeting

Alec's POV
I sighed as I stared at the blank wall in front of me. "Finally, some color!" A voice shouted from my door, making me turn. "Let me guess, Izzy was worried about me and she called you to comfort me. Well, I don't need to be comforted, so you can go," I snapped. Magnus stared at me like I was crazy.
"Right. Almost passing out is a good thing, apparently. Alexander, we both know you need me"
"I'm fine, Magnus! I don't need you, I don't need anyone!"
"Keep telling yourself that. I'm not going anywhere until you talk to me because you know you need to"
"I don't need to talk to anyone!"
"I can wait all day, Alexander"
