"I can wait all day, Alexander"

Now

Alec's POV
Magnus stared me down as I played on my phone. "We've been here a week, Alexander. You have to at least be ready to talk to me," Magnus sighed. "How many times do I have to tell you I don't need your help?" I argued.
"But you do, you're just denying it"
"No, I'm not! Just leave me alone!"
"We both know I'm the only one who can give you the comfort you need!"
"My finance died! How do you live with the fact knowing you are responsible?! I killed him, my own finance all because of a little prophecy!"
"Are you done?"
"Yes, yes, I'm done"
Magnus gestured me to move in his arms, which I took immediately. "What prophecy, Alexander?" Magnus asked. "It's stupid," I answered.
"Probably. Just tell me"
"No"
Magnus pulled me closer to him. "You need to," Magnus pointed out. And I knew he was right, but I couldn't tell him because he'd just laugh at me. "I can't," I sighed.
"If you don't, you'll only get worse"
"Like I said, I'm fine"
"This prophecy, if it's even true, is responsible for the death of your finance. Like you said, it's kinda your own fault"
"I couldn't marry my finance if I even wanted to"
"Explain"
I sighed and pulled away. "I can only marry one person," I spoke. "Who?" Magnus asked. I turned around to face him.
"You"
