Alec's POV

"I knew it!" Peter yelled, waking me up. I gave my boyfriend a glare.

"Knew what?" I yawned.

"That he's judgmental, maybe?" Izzy shrugged.

"We have to kill all the dangerous species out there and Magnus Bane is one of them," Peter simply stated.

"So.. you're suggesting we kill my ex boyfriend, who is also THE HIGH WARLOCK OF BROOKLYN?!" I asked.

"Uh yes?"

"Okay. Let's do it" (know he's being sarcastic)

"Do what?" Catarina asked, appearing out of nowhere with Tessa by her side. Peter raised an eyebrow.

"No Magnus? Aren't you all three usually together?" Peter asked.

"And who exactly wants to know?" Magnus asked, making Peter jump.

"Peter... Peter Michaels"

"I see you got the records," Tessa noted.

"One question: why are we all crowded in MY room?" I asked. Everyone looked at me and then at each other.

"We'll take this to the library," Peter suggested.

**Time skip**

Alec's POV

"Good news: You two are pure," Peter spoke, looking at Cat and Tessa.

"What about Magnus?" Tessa asked, worried.

"He's danger, so we have to kill him obviously"

"That's insane!" Magnus yelled in his high warlock voice. The last time I heard that anger voice was when Camille broke us apart.

"You committed a crime, it's simple actually," Peter grinned.

"You can't kill him without having a trial," Catarina pointed out.

"Magnus doesn't need a trial. He's guilty"

"Peter, we're having a trial," I ordered.

"Alec, he killed someone and bought another to suicide. He doesn't need a trial"

"I never bought anyone to suicide, it was her choice! And the murder... it was an accident, I was defending myself," Magnus cried.

"How dare you bring up Magnus's darkest parts of his past! People like you are the reason why he doesn't open himself up to others!" Catarina screamed.

"I'm just bringing it up, it's not like I'm... laughing or anything wrong," Peter replied as he started laughing.

"Peter..." I sighed. Peter stared at me.

"Come on, it's hilarious!"

"If you think this is hilarious, you're messed up and earning a breakup"

"Alec! Come on, you don't mean that!" Peter pouted. To prove my point, I slapped my now ex boyfriend.

"Now you do"

"Just wait until you hear who he committed crimes to. His mother took her own life because of him and he killed his step father," Peter laughed even harder.

"I'm going to destroy you!" Magnus yelled.

"You weren't there so you don't know what really happened!" Catarina screamed.

"ENOUGH!" Izzy yelled. I gave her a little nod.

"Peter, one, you're one of the most selfish people in the entire universe. Two, the darkest parts of someone's fast ISN'T funny whatsoever. And three, I believe you're wrong about Magnus being guilty," I spoke.

"How is he not guilty, Alec?" Peter snickered.

"Because I strongly believe he is not responsible for the death of his mother and that he was defending himself"

"But you are!"

"My mother killed herself because she didn't want to raise an abomination, but I didn't bring her to that decision. My father was drowning me when out of nowhere, my magic burned him alive," Magnus cried. Without faltering, I pulled him in my embrace allowing him to cry on my shoulder.

"Look what you have done," I hissed to Peter. "I will never laugh at you, I love you," I whispered in Magnus's ear.
