"I Love You Too"

Alec's POV

"Are you sure you're alright?" Izzy asked Magnus.

"I'll be fine," Magnus answered, staring out the window. But I knew he wouldn't be at least for a month.

"What's going to happen to Peter?" Cat asked, annoyed.

"He will be stripped off his marks if his trial finds him guilty," I explained.

"And if he isn't?" Magnus whispered. Izzy stared at me before I shook my head and released her from this room.

"Catarina, we should go catch up," Izzy suggested, hoping she would understand. Luckily, she did.

Silence.

"Did you mean it?" Magnus whispered, breaking the comfortable silence.

"Magnus.. I promise Peter will-" I started to say.

"No. When you told me you wouldn't laugh at me and that you loved me, did you mean it?"

"Absolutely. I will always love you Magnus, you know that," I whispered, slowly moving my way up to him.

"You can't.." Magnus cried, turning to face me.

"I can't what?" I whispered, afraid that I already knew the answer.

"You can't love me. I'm not worth it. What I've been through, who I am... is not capable of true love"

"Stop. Magnus, you are worth it and will always will be. The past doesn't define us," I whispered, bringing him into a hug.

"I want you to know," Magnus cried softly.

"Know what?"

"Everything about me, Alexander"

I smiled, kissing his forehead.

"Alexander?" Magnus whispered.

"Hmm?"

"I love you too"

Magnus's POV

My past was anything but traumatic. I never thought that one day someone out there would see me as anything else except as a monster until I met Alexander Gideon Lightwood. My hero, my love of my life, my heart, my life, my soulmate, and my everything. All he wanted was to know the real me yet I pushed him away because I was too afraid that he would leave me and because of my decision, he went all the way to meeting up with my devil ex just to find out things about me.

"Magnus?" Alexander asked, bringing me back to reality.

"Alexander..." I answered, twirling around and brought him into a passionate kiss.

"I love you," Alec said, out of breath.

"Do you know how much I love you?"

"Not at all. Maybe you should tell me or better yet..... show me," Alec winked.
