Magnus please...

Alec's POV

I knew what I was getting into when the ground shook, making the lights go out. I sighed, tapping on the door until a shadow appeared behind me.

"Where's Magnus?" I asked, not bothering to turn around.

"Right here, Alexander," Magnus whispered in my ear before pushing me to the ground.

"You can't save my son, you fool," Asmodeous snapped.

My heart beat faster as Magnus circled me.

"He's permanently on the dark side," Asmodeous hissed.

"We don't have to be separated, Alexander. Join us," Magnus purred. I winced when I was kicked in the side hard. Magnus froze, growling at his father.

"You promised you wouldn't touch him!" Magnus snapped.

"I'm just having a little fun, my son. You should too," Asmodeous replied, shrugging.

"We're not here to beat him, father!"

"Yet, you pushed him. You're sure you don't want to do one thing to him?"

Magnus looked at his father then back at me.

"Magnus.." I whispered, begging him not to listen.

"You know you want to. Just one slap, one kick, or one punch. It's your choice," Asmodeous tried to convince him.

I stared at Magnus as he smiled at me sweetly. Magnus Bane, the one who I fell in love with, was still in there. He had to be.

"You have to fight, Magnus. Please..." I whispered.

"And what would you know about fighting, Alexander?" Magnus purred in my ear.

"I know you. You're not evil!"

That only angered him. I whimpered after his fist connected to my face. Even though it was dark, I could see his father's smile. Magnus fell to his knees.

"Forgive me, Alexander. I don't know what came over me...I'm so sorry" Magnus cried.

Asmodeous's smile faded and I was kicked once more. He was trying to make Magnus lose control, to beat me until I was close to death, to make him regret his actions right after so he could be a true monster. He wanted me to feel the pain of a broken loved one, for me to know he finally stopped loving me.

"You don't apologize nor ask for forgiveness!" Asmodeous shouted.

"I love him!" Magnus shouted and got up so fast that he accidentally kicked me in the face.

"He broke up with you for no reason! Doesn't that make you angry?!"

Magnus froze before turning around to face me. His face had a sad small smile when he noticed the blood.

"Magnus..." I whispered.

"Make him pay, my son," Asmodeous spoke. I could see his father's words were tempting him.

"Magnus please..."

Then I was grabbed by the shirt and pinned to a wall.
