When I First Met You

Alec's POV

Nothing ever goes by plan. Well for me, anyway. It all started as a simple mission with about 5 demons to kill, including 1 vampire, when everything went wrong with a couple of warlocks getting in our way.

"If you came here to kill us, you've chosen the wrong people," Jace spat.

"Do you have any idea who I am?! I'm THE Bane. Magnus Bane, high warlock of Brooklyn," the handsome warlock growled.

"The high warlock of Brooklyn? I'm so scared right now. NOT!"

Remember when I told you nothing ever goes to plan? This is the part. Jace and I were hiding and me, being me, decided it was a good idea to shoot an arrow at the three warlocks. This only angered them more, yelling so loud that both Jace and I fell unconscious.

A few minutes later...

"Are the boys dead?" I overheard one whisper. I remained quiet, knowing I can't let them find out I was still alive. While unconscious, my mind consisted of one certain flashback.

**Start of flashback**

"This isn't a joke! How dare you!" Robert yelled.

"It was an.. accident. I'm sorry, father," I sighed. I should've known to be more careful when I was cutting and this one time I forgot to lock the door.

"You better be sorry! Is my failure of a son too weak that you just have to cut?! I think you need to be taught a lesson!" Robert growled.

"How am I a failure?! I follow every rule"

"You became a failure by being a disgusting faggot!" He spat. And with that, his fist connected with my face, hard, causing me to fall down on my back. "The question is, how far should I go?" He grinned as he kicked me everywhere.

"Stop, please stop!" I cried out in agony. But he didn't stop and everyone who witnessed me being beaten joined in. When my beating got interrupted by a warlock, you could say I had fallen in love.

**End of flashback**

"Alexander.. wake up," a voice whispered above me, causing my eyes to open.

"Don't.. don't hurt me," I replied, nervously.

"You scared, Lightwood?" I looked up at the warlock and instantly my heart melted. It was the same warlock that saved me from being beaten to death.

"You wish"

"Alexander, you're dying. You know that right?"

"You're lying, I can't be dying..."

"I wouldn't lie to you Alexander"

"You saved me.." A blush.

"I couldn't let you die and I have feelings for you..."

"Magnus... kiss me"

"As you wish, darling." With that, he brought his lips closer to mine and kissed me passionately on the lips, causing me to moan. "You have no idea how long I wanted to do that"

"How long, Magnus?"

"...When I first met you"

"After all this time?! You should've... I love you Magnus..."

"I love you too. Always, Alexander, always..."

At this moment, I wasn't afraid of death. I was with the love of my life, even though we never dated, and that's what all I needed. Before I breathed my last breath, he kissed me again but more gentle.
