2. The Morning After

Rewriting this because I didn't like the original ending

Previously...

As I turned away, Alec's hand grabbed my wrist making me look at him.

"Don't leave me, Magnus," he whispered. I nodded and laid right next to him. I wrapped my arms around his waist protectively and kissed his forehead before allowing sleep to overcome the both of us.

Now

Alec's POV

When I woke up in a comfortable bed, I remembered that Magnus wanted to take care of me.

"You're awake earlier than expected," Magnus's angelic, sleepy voice spoke above me.

"What time is it?" I asked, sitting up.

"8"

"Magnus, that's not early for me"

"Alexander, yes it is. You used to wake up closer to noon on your days off" I blinked.

"I did?" I sighed.

"Of course you don't remember," Magnus smirked.

"Stop being cute for once!"

"Darling, I'm Magnus Bane and I will always be cute!" We just stared at each other before bursting into fits of laughter.

"Even after all this time, we're acting like best friends. I always assumed this would never happen," I spoke.

"Alexander, we always find our way back to each other," Magnus smiled.

"No matter what"

Magnus chuckled before pulling me up. "Hungry?" Magnus asked. "Starving," I answered.

"I made pancakes, your favorite"

Even after years of being apart, we still act like being together. My stomach growled so loud that I almost didn't feel Magnus's lips on my cheek.

"I don't want this moment to end," Magnus hummed.

"Maybe it shouldn't," I suggested.

"Alexander... you know it can't. You betrayed me, Alec and I can't forgive you"

"We could start over"

"I'm immortal, Alexander! Even if we started over, there's no guarantee we would be together for a long time.."

"I need to tell you something...." Magnus stared at me for quite some time.

"You need to leave, Alexander," Magnus gently spoke.

"I don't think I can live without you... Magnus, I'm immortal," I responded. "But if you want me to leave, I'll leave"

Silence. I slowly became worried.

"Please don't leave, Alexander... I need you; I love you," Magnus cried before pulling me into a heated kiss. I gasped, giving Magnus the opportunity to slide his tongue into my mouth and he did just that.

"Magnus.." I croaked. He smirked and snapped his fingers, making our clothes disappear. I moaned as he walked me to his bedroom and pushed me on his bed.

"Alexander, you're so hot.." Magnus grinned as he sucked and bit my neck rune.

"Magnus, please... don't be a tease"

"Alexander.." Magnus smirked, kissing me everywhere, as he slowly slid inside me.

"You're not going to prepare me?" I moaned. Magnus didn't answer: he answered by beginning to thrust. "MAGNUS!!" I screamed way too loudly.

"Alexander, you're so tight. Do you like it rough, darling?" Magnus moaned as he literally pounded into me.

"Like it? No. Love it? Yes"

A couple more thrusts made me lose control.

"Magnus, I'm going to.." I moaned as I instantly spilled everywhere with Magnus a few seconds later.

"Alexander..." He panted out, still inside me. It felt so good. "I think we need to start slowly, now that we're back together"

"But I thought..." A passionate kiss shut me up.

"I want this, I want you. Let's go to sleep, my darling"

I smiled happily and allowed darkness to consume me over. I could feel Magnus's heartbeat as well as his member since he still hasn't pulled out of me.
