Alec's POV
I groaned in pain as I finally awoke and looked around my surroundings. "Are you okay? I saw you passed out and didn't want to leave you," a girl spoke, startling me. "Who are you? Where am I? Can I trust you?" I asked.
"My name is Charlotte Dilaurentis. You're in an abandoned building. You probably shouldn't, but I think you will"
"Um..."
"Now answer my question, are you okay?"
"Well, I just attacked my sister because I got panicked and angry at my parabatai's funeral, so no"
"Parabatai?"
"Right, you're a mundane. It's another word for best friend"
"I have no idea what you just said, but whatever. You may go, but I believe you have a concussion"
"A concussion?"
"I'm worried about your injuries, Alexander. You can lose all of your memories"
I froze.

Magnus's POV
"All I know is that he's trapped in an abandoned building," I sighed. "Magnus, find him," Izzy cried.
"Why should I find him?"
"He needs you, Magnus. Besides, he'll only listen to you right now"
I nodded. As I walked down the cold streets of New York, I started to have a bad feeling. It was like it was almost too easy to find Alec as if his kidnapper wanted him to be found. I shook my head in denial before entering the abandoned building that was found. "You know my name?" Alec's voice echoed through the thin, dirty walls. "Of course I do. You know you should really get your head checked out, I wouldn't want your memories to be lost," another voice echoed.
"You did this, didn't you? Why would you want me to lose my memories?!"
"It'd be easier for you, Alexander and you know that"
In anger, I threw a ball of magic to one of the walls. "They found you," the voice echoed. I ran to the voice before opening the door to reveal Alec. "Magnus?" Alec asked, surprised. "I got you," I spoke quietly as I picked him up in my arms and carried him back to the Institute.
