Alec's POV
I stood there, not being able to move because of how much shock I have. "Alec, we have to go!" Izzy cried, comforting Clary. "He's my parabatai! We just can't leave him, Iz!" I shouted. After losing Magnus, I wished I never lost Jace. When Magnus died, I was devastated and couldn't bring myself to do anything except crying. Losing two people you love was the hardest thing I ever had to go through. "Alexander," a voice whispered in my mind which made me leave Jace alone. Izzy was crying and I couldn't bare to hear it. So, I went to the place where I used to call home.

At Magnus's loft

Alec's POV
The loft was the same as I left it. Sighing, I reached the master bedroom and sat down on the edge of the bed. "Alexander," a voice spoke, making me turn around and smile. "Why haven't you found peace yet?" I asked the ghost of my husband. Magnus smiled softly before grabbing my hand.
"I don't want to go on without you"
"You have to move on, it's not healthy for you to be here"
"Alexander, I can't forget you"
"You have to, Mags! Don't you see?! You staying here will only get worse!"
"I need you"
"One day I will join you and we'll rule the afterlife together. But right now, you have to let go"
Magnus cried before letting go. "I love you Mags. I'll see you soon," I whispered as I cried.
