"Sweetie, come out of your room. It's been three days. You need to eat", my mom said from the other side of the door.
My face was covered with my purple pillow. The tears have stained into the fabric, creating a dark shadow like spot.
"Go away. I wanna be alone", I said.

Jeonghan's POV
"Come on, pick up (y/n)", I mumbled into the phone as my fingers tapped on the desk.
*The number you have dialed is no longer in service-*
'Strange. She had her phone disconnected'
"Just forget about her baby. You belong with me anyways", Melanie said as she wrapped her arms around my neck.
"I told you to pack your things and get out. I want nothing to do with you", I stood up and looked down at her.
"Don't blame me for your stupid mistake. Anyways, I'm not packing my things just because you said so", she snickered.
"Fine", I said.
I grabbed her suitcase and began putting her clothes inside very messily.
"What are you doing??", she asked.
"Packing for you. I don't want you in my house. I want you out of my life. I should've never let you talk me into it", I said.
"So I'm guessing you want that picture of her out in the internet since you're being an ass right now. That's what you want right?", she asked.
"You know what? Whether you post that picture or not, I will never love you. You were just a roommate. Nothing else. You're right about one thing though. It was stupid of me to get involved in that plan with you. But I can promise you that will never happen again. Get out", I held the suitcase in front of her.
Luckily, she didn't have that much stuff. She glared at me for a few seconds before taking the suitcase right out of my hands.
"She's not gonna take you back, you know. I wouldn't", she said before walking out of the house.

(Y/n)'s POV
As I was laying in bed, I thought about the times I was with Jeonghan. He was so sweet to me and all the years I've known him, I didn't think he would just be friends with me and then ask me out just because he wanted my family's money.
"You can't see her!"
"I need to talk to her."
"Security!"
I sat up and wondered what that ruckus was. I headed towards the front door and noticed Jeonghan arguing with my father.
"(Y/n), please, I need to talk to you", he said, trying to get past my dad.
"I said she doesn't want to speak to you. Get out!", my father yelled.
"Dad..I want to hear what he has to say", I said.
My father looked at me, surprised. I was kinda surprised myself but I want to know what he has to say. I stood in front of Jeonghan and waited for him to speak.
"First of all, I really want to apologize for hurting you. Melanie had a very inappropriate picture of you and she was gonna post it online. She didn't like the fact that I was always hanging out with you so she used that to blackmail me. At first, I was just doing it so she wouldn't post that picture. But as we got closer, I felt something I've never experienced. I understand if you don't want to see me again. And I understand if your parents don't want us seeing each other. I know I can never gain your trust again. I can never forgive myself for hurting you. Before I leave, I just want to tell you how much you mean to me. I really love you. I didn't know how that felt. I didn't even know I could feel that towards you. And again Mr. (y/l/n) I apologize to you and your wife for embarrassing your family. I feel so ashamed. I don't deserve such an amazing person like your daughter. She should marry someone who'll take care of her and not hurt her like I did", he said.
"Your words don't mean anything here. Be gone. I don't want to see your face again", my father said.
Jeonghan bowed and glanced at me before turning away. I watched as he hunched his back while walking away.
"Wait!", I called out.
I ran after him and stared deeply into his eyes. My mother told me that the only way you know if a person is lying to you is if they don't look into your eyes. Jeonghan hasn't blinked once.
"Did you really mean what you said?", I asked him.
"Every word", he said.
I thought about it for a while. He really did hurt me but why does my heart still beat for him.
"You're not really gonna believe this scumbag, are you (y/n)?", my father scoffed.
Jeonghan looked at me with pleading eyes. His hair slightly covering his eyes due to the wind. I cried so many hours over him. Why? Because I love him. I love him so much that my heart hurts.
"Prove it", I told him.
"What?", he asked.
"Prove that you love me", I said.
"Agh, nothing's gonna get through this girl's thick head", my father said and went back inside.
"How do I do that?", he asked.
"This past month, I'm not too sure if that was you or if that girl planned it out. Show me the real you", I said.
He stepped closer to me and placed both of his hands on my cheek. He hasn't been this close to me before. Usually we hold hands but nothing like this. His thumbs lightly caressed my cheeks, causing them to warm up.
"I love you. I feel so horrible for doing that to you. I told Melanie I wasn't gonna do it anymore. I kicked her out of my house and made it very clear to her that I want nothing to do with her. She means nothing to me. But you do", he whispered.
"Why do I feel like I don't believe you?", I asked him.
"Well what else can I do for you to be able to believe me?", he asked.
"Say something you've never said to me before", I said.
He looked at my eyes and then down at my lips.
"I can do something I've never done to you before", he said.
He smiled before leaning in and attached his lips against mine. He caught me off guard. My eyes widened so much, I thought they were gonna pop out. Soon after I responded to the kiss. My lips felt tingly and I saw fireworks. I always thought that was cliche but I guess it's because I've never felt that before.
"How was that?", he asked.
"Perfect", I smiled.
My father disapproved of my decision but he said he would try to understand. My mother was really happy for me. I actually ended up marrying Jeonghan's a year later. But this time he didn't do it for the money.
