(Y/n) has been working all day. Filing papers, getting coffee, attending clients who were appointed to meet with her boss. Usually her day at work ends at 5pm but the task that she has been asked to do is making her stay late.

"Miss (Y/n), I'd like to see you in my office please."

Her boss called out for her as he peeked his head out from the door. She wondered if she was in trouble. Getting up from her desk, she walked towards his office and closed the door once she was in.

"Yes?", she said, sitting down in front of his desk.

"How is the project coming along?", he asked, typing on his computer.

"Oh uh...it's going great", she chuckled awkwardly.

Lies. She hasn't even started yet. Her boss Jeon Wonwoo has asked for her to write a five page essay on her greatest accomplishment. The only thing she can come up with is getting a job without anyone's help but that doesn't seem like something worth reading.

"Can you do me a favor? Can you take these papers to a Mr. Kim. He's in the building across from ours. Just say I sent you", he smiled while handing her that stack of papers.

"And whatever you do, don't peek inside. Got that?", he asked.

She hesitated for a bit, watching as how his expression turned cold. He glanced out the window once she had walked out, making sure she arrived safely.

"Sir, there has been a car that's been watching the building. It's parked at the corner of the street", one of the employees said.

He averted his eyes towards the only car that's parked outside. He can see a man in all back with binoculars pointing towards the direction of the entrance.

"Keep an eye out", he said.

The employee nodded and exited the office.

Mr. Jeon was becoming anxious as it was taking more than a short while for (y/n) to come out. All she had to do was hand the papers in. He was about to stand up until he saw her come out of the building. He sighed and waited for her to come into his office.

"Sir, Mr. Kim wasn't there but his assistant said he would give it to him", she said as soon as she entered.

"What?? I asked you to give the papers specifically to Mr. Kim", he said, quickly looking out of the window.

"He said he was in a meeting. I-I'm sorry", she apologized with her head hung low.

Mr. Jeon kept pacing back and forth. (Y/n) has never made a mistake in the job...except now. For sure she thinks she'll get fired.

"Just...finish what you were doing. You're dismissed", he said.

She bit back the tears that were threatening to escape. Before he notices, she quickly bowed and left, heading towards the bathroom. She washed her face and made sure she was decent before continuing to work.

A few hours pass until it was around midnight. Everyone had left except for (y/n). She was still working on the project that was assigned to her.

Mr. Jeon was still in his office, trying to come up with a plan. He leaned back against his chair and let out a sigh, rubbing his temples in frustration. It was quiet around him until he heard a thud and a yelp. He quickly stood up and grabbed his gun that was in his drawer. Lightly string towards the door, he peeked and looked left and right, only to see (y/n) on the floor while holding her head.

"Miss (y/n), what are you doing here this late? I would've thought you left", he said as he helped her up.

"I lost track of time", she said, dusting off her pencil skirt.
