Dino

You couldn't help but admire your boyfriend as he ironed his shirt. His bare back smooth as a baby's bum. He glanced over his shoulder to see what you were doing. When he noticed you were looking at his butt, he smirked.

"Take a picture. It'll last longer", he chuckled.

"Gladly", you said before grabbing your camera.

You were taking pictures of him, making cute little comments about how handsome he is. He put the iron to the side and launched towards you, trying to grab the camera but you pulled back. He landed on you, reaching for the camera as he tickled you.

"You never out this thing down", he smiled, shaking his head.

"You can't blame me. If I like what I see, I take a picture. Which is probably why I have almost a whole album of you", you said.

He helped you off of the bed and handed you your bag of clothes.

"Ready?", he asked, putting on his shirt.

"Yep", you said.

Both of you headed towards the van and put your things in the back. You sat on the passengers side while Dino drove.

Your boyfriend invited you to go with him to see all the favorite places he's been to. He thought since you two were getting serious that he'd show you more of him that most people don't know about.

"This is where we had a bunch of crazy parties. This spot was actually the first party I've ever been invited to. It was really fun. I always thought being invited to parties like that would make me cool. I was wrong", he chuckled.

"I still can't imagine you being at a party. You're always focusing on work", you said.

"And you. I focus on you too", he said.

After checking out all the places that were most memorable to him, he took you to a spot near the lake where most people jog.

He put his sweater down on the ground so you wouldn't get your dress dirty. As soon as you say down, a few ducks surrounded you. You were a bit afraid of them since you hardly have any experience with animals.

"Lucky? Is that you?", Dino said.

You were confused as he looked at one of the ducks that was a few feet away from you.

"Lucky? Who's lucky?", you asked.

"That duck. The one with one leg. I'd always feed him bread when I come here. Usually at times when I was going through things. He was my only companion", he said.

The duck hopped its way towards Dino and shook its tail, quacking happily. You smiled knowing something like this means a lot to him.

"Lee Chan?"

Both of you turned to meet eyes with a girl who was in her jogging gear. Her blonde hair was tied in a ponytail, headphones around her neck, body that was meant for a goddess.

"Amy..what are you doing here?", he asked, a bit of shock on his face.

"I run here everyday...who's this?", she asked, referring to you.

"This is (y/n), my...girlfriend", he said.

"Oh..hi..Meeting lucky for the first time?..he brought me here years ago to meet him and now I see him when I run. Didn't think he'd bring anyone else up here after what happened. Anyways, it was nice seeing you again...and it was nice meeting you (y/n)", she smiled before continuing with her run.

"What does she mean? You've brought her here? Was she your girlfriend? What happened?," you asked.

"It's nothing (y/n). She's just trying to get you mad", he said.

"..was she your first girlfriend? The one you told me about?", you asked.

He started pulling out grass from the ground while lightly nodding. You sat closer to him and intertwined your hands with his.

"I'm guessing you didn't tell me everything that went on with her. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. But I'm here if you want to talk", you softly smiled at him before resting your head on his shoulder.

At first it seemed like he wasn't gonna talk but once you heard him sigh, you lifted your head up and looked at him.

"I told her a bunch of personal stuff. The two years of being together wasn't real for her but it was real for me. One night I brought her here. I expressed how madly in love I was with her. But it seemed like she didn't really care about my feelings. I was just some goal on her bucket list. The next day, she told everyone about my personal issues. She turned everyone against me. After that I wasn't sure who I could trust", he said.

"That explains why you kept pushing me away when I tried to be friends with you", you said.

"I wanted to bring you here because this is where my heart got broken. But also because I've done a lot of thinking here about whether I mattered to anyone. I wanted to share that with you but I wasn't sure if wanted to tell you the meaning of this place. I didn't bring you here because this is where I take all the girls or whatever. There are no other girls. Just you", he smiled.

"See this is why I really like you. You make me feel something that no one has ever made me feel. I'm really happy you trust me enough to tell me all of this, especially since what you went through. But I can promise you that I'm not like her. Your secrets are safe with me", you smiled and hugged his arm.

You were focused on looking at the lake, ducks fighting over food. Dino kept his eyes on you.

"(Y/n)....I love you", he whispered.

Your heart stopped. You slowly turned your head facing him, noticing his soft gaze on you. Your cheeks flushed.

"Really?", you asked, breath being taken away.

"Yeah..at first I didn't want to admit to myself that I love you because I was afraid. But I feel really confident that you're the one", he smiled.

You quickly kissed him, not wanting this moment to end. The romantic moment was ruined by lucky quacking in between us.

"Looks like Lucky approves", he joked.

You were happy. He was happy. You didn't think about whether there was a chance of him getting back together with his ex. Nothing else mattered except your love for each other.
