THEA POV

Logan was at his last day on set for The Thinning. I decided to take his advice and start a Youtube. I was a fast learner. I've watched Brandon edit for a couple days so, I picked up some skills.

I need, however, a piano keyboard. I head down after changing and Andy was there.

"Hey," he said.

"Hi," I replied.

Andy has been nothing but nice to me and I can tell he is one of the few people that genuinely wants to spend time with Logan, not for his following.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"I uhm-," I started. "I want to go get a keyboard," I said.

"Great," he smiled widely. "you need a ride?"

"What?"

"I want to go get some ingredient for dinner. Would you mind if we go grocery shopping?"

"No," I smiled. "not at all."

"Perfect. Let me get the keys," he said.

We stopped at the music store and man, there were so many keyboards to choose from.

"What are you looking for?" the host asked.

"She is looking for a keyboard that will do magic," Andy said when I was lost with words.

"I think I know the one," the host laughed and guide us though.

"How about this one?" the host asked pointing us to

"Play it," Andy insisted.

I sat on the small stool and brushed my fingers on the keys. I started playing and God, it felt good.

When I was done, the host looked shock.

"I thought you were a beginner," he said. "This is not for you. You need something else."

"It's out of tune," I said.

Andy laughed. "Then, let's move on."

The next couple keyboards didn't feel right to touch. You know how people buy rings and when they find the one, it's the one. It's the same with keyboards. They aren't just instruments. They have personality and characteristics to them.

"This is the one," I smiled.

"Great!" Andy was loving the music store. He loves music too and bought something for himself.

After a long trip at the grocery store, walking from aisle to aisle, I filled the kitchen with food, snacks, and cereal. Andy told me Logan snack on a whole box of cereal each night.

"How does he still have abs?" I complained.

"How do you know he has abs?" Andy joked.

I felt my face heat up.

I helped Andy put away the groceries.

"Do you want me to help out with dinner?" I asked.

"The only thing I need you to help is to eat dinner. I can take care of the rest, now, shu," he said. "I have work to do and you," he pointed a carrot at me. "need to play us a song later."

"Dinner for a song?" I smiled. "deal."

I was probably going to make a bigger mess anyways. Andy worked like he has four arms in the kitchen.

I took my keyboard back to my room and unboxed it. I run my fingers over the keys and could not stop smiling. I have a keyboard!

I set the keyboard up and started playing.

You know the feeling when you return to your element? The feeling you get when everything feels right and nothing else matters? Each key I pressed, I felt a sense of satisfaction in my veins. Each note I hit, I realized just how free my soul was when I play.

Freedom. Human aren't granted the right to have freedom. We are always caged to laws, bounded by rules, and programed by expectations.

But this, doing things you love, is freedom.
