LOGAN POV

Chloe didn't bumped into me. She met up with me at the local café.

"Hey, Logan," she smiled.

"Hey," I said.

"So," she started. "it's been a while."

"It has," I said. "how are you?"

"Same old, same old," she said.

"Chloe, do you need anything?" I asked.

"You hate it when people waste your time," she chuckled. "fine. I need you to help me."

"With what?"

"Promise me, first," she said.

"Chloe-"

She crushed her lips onto mine.

"Please," she mumbled.

I kissed her back.

Fuck.

THEA POV

Being back in Ohio was strange. I should feel scared, but I felt empty. I looked at myself in the mirror. I was like an extra from the Walking Dead, but I didn't give a fuck.

I didn't tell my dad I was here. I told no one I left.

I didn't know what I was doing here anyways but I know I can't stay in the house.

I was tired of running away.

So, I ran back to my problem.

Where it all started.

I took the cab back to the familiar streets.

The house looked the same: quiet and dark.

I opened the door. The woman that haunts me for years stood in front of me.

"Hello, mother," I said bitterly and walked into my own hell.
