LOGAN POV

The moment I saw her at Jake's house, I knew I was in trouble. Her dark blonde hair rest over her shoulders as she played the piano. Her little fingers danced on the keys effortlessly and her green eyes were shut. Those damn green eyes.

I hated her since I was young. I remember how needy she was when she was young. Always clinging onto her father and looking for attention. The girl that is in front of me now is different. She no longer was the Thea that me and Jake knew. Something was lost in her eyes and something was buried deep down. I couldn't read her expression like I could before, so I decided to conceal mine from her too.

When Anthony said he was going to take her to my place, I saw the look on his place.

No, honey, no.

She went with him anyway. Damn, she was a wild card.

This morning I almost forgotten she was here but when I saw her in my house, I froze. I locked her glance, but I was pretty sure she was holding mine. I didn't know who was holding who hostage. I saw something in her that I didn't see yesterday, vulnerability. But she took the power back when she shut her eyes.

I lost those green eyes. When she opened them again, her eyes were blank. She hides her emotions well. She stormed out the door in seconds.

"Logan?" Manager Jeff started.

"I'm here," I said.

"Come on, buddy. I need your attention. This is big," he said.

"I said I'm here, Jeff," I said. I didn't know why I was snapping at him. I saw her walked out the door and I wanted to ask where she was going. I wanted her to come back and explain why she became this tough badass bitch instead of the scared and needy Thea I knew.

After the meeting, mom walked out all happy and bubbly. She prepared us breakfast and fed Maverick and Kong.

"Where did she go?" I asked.

"Who?" mom asked.

"You know who," I said.

"I don't," she said.

She was playing games.

"Thea, mom," I said. "Where is she going?"

"You didn't seem to care," she said.

"Mom," I warned.

"You didn't talk to her, acknowledge her, or say hi," she said.

"Does it matter?" I said.

"Logan," she crossed her arms.

"Why is she here, mom?" I asked.

"She is really talented. I bet you heard her sing and play yesterday," she said.

I did. Damn her voice was angelic.

"That doesn't answer where she is going," I said.

"She wanted to explore LA," she said.

"Alone?" I got to my feet.

"She said she will be okay."

"Mom, it's LA. People are jerks here," I said.

"She is tough, Logan."

"No joke. Why didn't you go with her?" I asked.

"I thought I spend time with my boys," she said. I felt an instant punch in my stomach.

"Sorry, mom," I said.

"It's alright. What are you doing for your vlog today?" she asked,

"I have a meeting in town then I'll see what I can do," I said. "maybe prank brother Jakey," I grinned.

"Not in his new house, Logan," mom said.

"Chill ma," I said. "he has three pools. I'm sure he wouldn't mind having one with slime in it."

Brandon showed up later and Lydia brought breakfast. We had team meeting and head out the door. Mom came with us but I told Lydia to take her shopping or hang out with Kong while I have more business meetings downtown.

"Hey," manager Jeff snapped me off. "You're not paying attention this morning. What is going on?"

"Too much going on," I explained.

"No joke. But all you have to do is say yes or no to what you want. We make it happen," Jeff got my back in everything. I have him a knuckle and head out where Brandon was waiting for me.

"The girls texted and said they are having lunch. You want to join them?" he asked.

"Sure," I said. I hopped onto my Yeti and decided to take the long way there.

"Dude," Brandon looked confused. "What are you looking for?"

"What?" I asked.

"You look like you are searching for something."

Yeah, I wanted to see if we could spot Thea. Damn it. Was I searching for her? I shouldn't care.

"Sorry, just finding content," I lied. Then I drove us to the café where the girls were having lunch.

Lydia and Pam waved at us when we arrived but my eyes caught the soft dark blonde hair that was back facing us.

She didn't turn around. She didn't give a damn when we came. Her eyes were on her plate and I slide into the seat next to her. Still, she didn't give me her eyes. It was refreshing to not get attention. I've been in LA for years and once you hit the million followers on social media, girls pile onto your lap. Thea didn't care or maybe she was playing hard to get. Either way, I'll break her in the end and she won't want to stay in LA.
