LOGAN POV

Brandon drove us back form set. I was tried after all the acting that I need a lie down.

"So," Brandon started. "what is with you and Thea?" he asked.

"What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean without me repeating it," he said.

"Nothing," I said.

"Nothing?"

"Yeah, I mean," I don't know what to say. She is never what I had before so what were we anyways?

Brandon dropped it when with my unsatisfying answer. When we got home, Andy, being the perfect person he is, had dinner ready. Judy was there with Lydia, helping to set the table.

My eyes search for Thea but she wasn't there – until I heard her play in her room.

"Got her a keyboard today," Andy said.

"Thanks, bro," I said.

"I was heading to town anyways," he said.

"Thanks, anyway," I said. I head to her room and heard her soft voice.

'I'm not a stranger to the dark

Hide away, they say

'Cause we don't want your broken parts

I've learned to be ashamed of all my scars

Run away, they say

No one will love you as you are'

My heart felt stung.

'But I won't let them break me down to dust

I know that there's a place for us

For we are glorious

When the sharpest words wanna cut me down

I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out

I am brave, I am proof

I am who I'm meant to be, this is me

Look out 'cause here I come

And I'm marching on to the beat of drum

I'm not scared to be seen

I make no apologies, this is me'

I found a wide smile spread across my face.

She paused but the melody continued.

'When the sharpest words wanna cut me down

Gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out

I am brave, I am proof

I am who I'm meant to be, this is me

Look out 'cause here I come

And I'm marching on to the beat I drum

I'm not scared to be seen

I make no apologies, this is me'

The music stopped so I knocked the door. She looked up and smiled.

"Hey," she said.

"Hey," I lean on the door frame to support my body. Hey smile weaken my legs. "That was beautiful," I said.

"I need wall proof walls," she joked.

"I'll get the studio ready soon," I said.

"I think I'll record some of my music," she said.

I felt a burst of joy.

"Yeah!" I cheered.

"Dinner is ready!" Andy called.

"Come on," I offered my hand. She hesitated but didn't leave me hanging. Her dot hand fits perfectly in mine. I held her hand tighter. Brandon gave me a wink and Andy tried to hide his smile.

Dinner was great. Although anything Andy cooks is great. After dinner, Andy told Thea to play something while he cleaned the kitchen.

"Music makes cleaning easy," Andy said.

"I'll help," I said.

"Since when?" Lydia chuckled.

"Since now," I admitted.
