Me and Y/N stayed hugging each other for what felt like eternity. I didn't want this moment to end.
"Want to open gifts now?" I whispered in her ear.
"Sure!" she smiled.
"I'll be back!"
Walking out to the garage I grabbed the bag and brought it back into the house.
I watched Y/N for a minute because she was looking under the tree again and hadn't seen me yet.
I pulled out my phone and snapped a photo of her.

Posting it on my snapchat I smiled and put my phone away.
"I got the gifts!" I said.
"Yay!"
Setting the bag down in front of her I watched her take all 8 gifts out. I know what your thinking, wouldn't Shawn Mendes spoil his girlfriend? Yes I would but these 8 gifts are really special.
"You can open all the gifts I got you first ok babe!" I told her
"ok!"
Y/N's P.O.V
Picking up the first gift that had a little one in the corner I opened it.
Inside was a necklace with a little blue heart on it.
"That's so you'll always have my heart! Because you've already stolen it" Shawn said.
"Thank-you so much babe!"
"You can say thank-you at the end! Keep opening!" I think he was more excited then me.
Opening gift number two it was a pair of mittens. Because I always complain how cold my hands get when I'm driving.
Gift number three, hot chocolate.
Number 4 a blanket.
Number 5, five of our favourite movies.
number 6, a beanie that matches Shawn's.
number 7, one of his hoodies. And in his words he said he got that for me so I would never be alone.
And number eight. I picked up the little box and unwrapped it. Looking at the little black velvet box I was a little shocked.
"What's this?" I asked.
"Just open it Y/N!!" He was basically jumping out of his seat.
Opening the box I saw a tiny ring inside with Shawn's initials and mine. Looking at him I was confused. What's going on here.
"Don't worry I know what your thinking but it's not a engagement ring! We're to young for that! But it is a promise ring. Because let's face it the last year i've got to spend with you Y/N has made me the happiest i've been in a while. My heart breaks every time I have to leave you and go on tour but I always know that you'll be waiting for me when I get home! I guess i'm giving you this ring to let you know that one day I do want to marry you because your the love of my life. I know I found the one and it's you! I love you more than life itself and without i'd be nothing. Thank-you for being my very best friend, my partner in crime, and most of all my rock! I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for you! I love you so much Y/N" Shawn said.
I just sat there for a second stunned with a few tears in my eyes of course.
"Wow!" was really all I could say.
I stood up and walked over to him. He got up and hugged me. He hugged me so tight and it made me feel like we were the only two people on the whole of the planet earth. I love this boy who's holding me in his strong arms. I couldn't picture my life without him.
"Merry Christmas Shawn! I love you so much"
"Merry Christmas Y/N! I love you more than life itself!"
"Is this a one up game or something?" I asked.
He laughed. Putting his finger to my lips he just shushed me.
Laughing I snuggled back into his warm embrace and smiled. What the hell did I do to deserve a boy like this?
