Sunshine and slurpee's

Shawn's P.O.V

Walking into the hot summer air with Y/N right beside me we had left my vehicle at home and went for a walk. Which now I was regretting because it was so hot out, and I would kill for a little AC. Heading down the sidewalk I heard Y/N start complaining about the heat.

"It's so hot out Shawn i'm going to melt!" she laughed.

"I know i'm sorry Y/N I didn't realize how hot it was actually going to be"

"it's okay, we could always just get like a slurpee or something?" she asked.

"that's true! wanna go?" I asked.

"yeah!" I watched her eyes light up.

"okay let's go!" I said grabbing her hand.

Continuing down the sidewalk we finally made it to 7-11. Walking inside the AC hit us like a breath of fresh air.

"ah I could stay in here forever! It's so nice and cool" Y/N said while walking towards the back.

Pulling out two medium cups she handed one to me and started filling hers up. Walking back over to me she had the straw in her mouth and was already sipping hers.

"slow down speed racer" I laughed. "I don't have anything in my cup yet!"

"sorry i'm just excited. Which is weird cause it's just a slurpee" she giggled.

Finally filling up my cup we went to pay, handing the cashier some money we left and started our trek back home.

"Shawn, when we get home can we just go sit in the basement and play xbox?" Y/N asked.

"yeah sure! Wanna play NHL17?" I asked.

"heck yeah I do!" she yelled.

"alright then!"

Putting my arm around her she leaned into me and we kept walking.
