Amelia's P.O.V

Walking into the arena I was so excited! I was finally going to be seeing Shawn live. Heading towards security I walked through and gave one of the ladies my ticket. Hearing the beep she handed it back and I looked down and checked the section I had to go to. Heading towards the floor entrance I started walking down the stairs and into the floor. Showing the security guard my ticket he pointed me towards the front of the stage.

Walking down the floor I made it to the row I was seated in and sat down in one of the first seats. Watching the opening acts I was starting to get anxious, most of the people were in their seats already so I hoped that Shawn would be coming on soon. Soon enough the lights started to dim and everyone started screaming.

Shawn's P.O.V

Walking on to the stage I smiled and started singing. This was where I always wanted to be singing on stage for my fans. Scanning the crowd my eye caught one girl, she was stunning and I couldn't take my eyes off her. Shaking my head a little I continued the song. After singing a few more songs I ran backstage and found Andrew.

"Shawn what's up buddie?"

"There's a girl out there and I have to talk to her. I don't want to never see her again, you have to get her to stay" I said.

"uh okay what do you want me to do about it?" he laughed.

"I need you to get her to come backstage!"

"okay i'll see what I can do, where is she sitting?"

"row three I think? and the first seat closest to the stage!"

"alright. You better get back out there"

Smiling I ran back out on stage and finished up the few songs I had left. Singing There's Nothing Holding Me Back I couldn't see the girl anymore. I hoped Andrew had grabbed her and brought her backstage.

"Thank-you so much! I'll see you guys again very soon" I said waving to the crowd.

Running backstage I saw the girl standing there. She literally took my breath away. I couldn't move my feet and I wanted to so badly. Andrew walked by and patted me on the back.

"go get her bud!"

Finally my feet were working again and I walked over to her.

Amelia's P.O.V

I followed Andrew backstage and he told me to sit on one of the stage cases and wait for Shawn. I was a little nervous but mostly excited. I told myself to be calm and collected when Shawn came over to see me.

Hearing him thank the crowd, I started smiling. Seeing him run backstage he was standing across from me. I smiled and gave him a little wave but he stood frozen in place. Andrew walked by and patted his back saying something to him. He started walking over to me and I stood up. Looking right into his beautiful brown eyes.

"Hey! I'm Shawn, but you obviously already knew that!" he laughed a little.

"Yeah I did! I'm Amelia!" I smiled holding out my hand for him to shake.

"oh we're shaking hands are we?" he asked.

"yeah I guess! I didn't know if it would be weird to hug or not!" I giggled.

"nah it's cool!" Shawn said opening his arms.

Going over to him I went in for the hug. He was so warm and I felt so protected in his arms. Pulling back from the hug I smiled up at him.

"So id really like to hangout again with you if that's okay?" he asked.

I was shocked, Shawn freaking Mendes just asked to see me again.

"yeah for sure! I'd really love that" I said handing him my phone.

He entered his number and once he handed it back I called it to make sure he didn't type it in wrong.

"So i'll see you soon hopefully Amelia!" he smiled pulling me in for another hug.

"See you soon Shawn!" I smiled walking out of the arena and back to my vehicle.
