Madison's P.O.V

This morning I had woken up to a empty bed. Figuring Shawn had gone to the studio again I sighed and rolled over. Closing my eyes for a minute more I finally got up and left the room. Walking down and into the kitchen I found a note on the fridge.

Mads,

I'm at the studio you probably know this by now!

I'm taking you out tonight I left you a few outfits in our closet

See you in a few hours

Smiling I took the note off the fridge and went back upstairs to check the closet. I found a few new outfits and they both involved a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey. A grin spread across my face. Shawn new the Maple Leafs were my favourite team in the NHL.

Running to the bathroom I quickly showered. Getting out I put on my fluffy bathrobe and started to blow dry my hair. After about drying it for a half hour I left the bathroom and set both outfits on the bed. Sitting on the bed I just stared at them hoping one would jump at me.

"Are you waiting for them to say something?" Shawn laughed walking into the bedroom.

"no!" I smiled. "I don't know which one to wear?"

"well personally I think you'll look amazing in which ever one you choose!" he smiled.

"Thanks for your help my dude" I groaned.

"welcome!" he said setting his things down.

Coming over to the bed he sat with me and pulled me into his side. Kissing the top of my head he smiled at me.

"so I assumed you figured it out. Where were going tonight?" he asked.

"course I did and I must say i'm so excited!"

"i'm glad Mads!" Shawn said while getting up.

•At the game•

Walking around the arena to find our seats I couldn't help but smile I was so excited to be at this game. Shawn all of a sudden dragged me across the concourse to a door. Knocking twice someone opened it and we walked in.

"Hello Mr. Mendes and welcome to your skybox suite for the the night, enjoy" the man said and then left.

Looking at Shawn I narrowed my eyes.

"This is just for the two of us?" I asked.

"uh yeah?"

"why?" I asked.

"because I thought I would treat you?"

"okay!" I said content with the answer I was given.

Finally after the anthems and everything the game was starting. It was 1-0 at the end of the first. Into the second and the Maple Leaf's came flying out of the gate scoring 3 goals. Buffalo had only gotten 1 in the second.

In the last few minutes of the game Shawn got up and went into the box. Getting up I followed him.

"Shawn what are you doing?" I asked.

"I'm just checking something. I'll come sit in a minute" He smiled.

"okay" I said going back to sit down.

When the final buzzer went off the Leafs had won the game 5-2 against the Buffalo Sabres. Shawn stayed sitting in the seat next to me until the arena was pretty empty.

"Well we should leave now" Shawn said getting up.

Waiting for me he held out his hand and grabbed mine once I was up.

"Shawn isn't the entrance to leave the other way?"

"yeah but we have to make a little stop before we leave"

"alrighty" I smiled.

Walking towards a entrance guarded by security Shawn showed them his phone and they let us past. I was starting to get a little nervous because I had an idea about what we were doing. Finally we walked down a set of stairs and made it to a restricted area. Assuming this was where the Leafs dressing room was I started bouncing up and down a little.

"Maddie why are you bouncing?" Shawn laughed.

"I dunno!"

He went behind me and put his hands on my shoulders so I would stop bouncing. A few minutes later I looked up and saw Mitch Marner, William Nylander, and Auston Matthews. Only three of my most favourite players. Shawn had his hands on my shoulders still which I was glad for other wise I would have been jumping even more now.

"Shawn buddie! What's up?" Mitch said coming over to us.

"Hey Mitch! I just wanted my girlfriend Madison to meet you guys! She's a pretty big fan" Shawn smirked at me.

"Hey Madison" they all said.

I felt so dumb right now. All I could do was stand there no words were coming out of my mouth and I didn't know what to do.

"Don't worry she was like this when she first met me as well" Shawn laughed.

Auston, Mitch, and William laughed with Shawn and I still couldn't say anything. All I could do was awkwardly laugh with them.
