New Years Eve

Y/N's P.O.V

Walking with Shawn towards the stage I could feel his palm get sweatier.

"Are you nervous my love?" I laughed.

"ya kinda! This performance is going to be broadcast on tv I know i've had that happen before but this just seems so big!" he said

"I totally get it! Don't be nervous though! Your going to do amazing!" I told him.

"Ok I think I believe you!" he smirked.

Pulled me into a hug I smiled and snuggled towards him.

"I have to go get ready but you'll be watching right?" he asked me.

"Of course i'll be watching I wouldn't miss it for the world!"

He started to walk away but I pulled him back and kissed him.

"babe! You have to wait till midnight!" he said.

"Ya goof, I can't wait till then" I giggled.

"Me either!" he whispered in my ear.

"good luck my baby!" I hugged him one last time.

Watching him walk away I went to go find a spot in the crowd. Somehow I was lucky enough to get a spot right at the front.

Hearing the familiar beginning to my most favourite song of his I smiled.

Watching Shawn play his heart and soul out I smiled. He looked so happy and that made me happy!

Once There's Nothing Holding Me Back was over I met him around the back of the stage.

"Good job my love! That was so freaking amazing!"

"Thanks babe!" he smiled.

Pulling me into his side he kissed my head.

"What time is it?" he asked.

"Only a hour left till midnight"

"hmm ok, how should we kill the time?"

"I'm not sure! Did you have anything in mind?" I said.

"We could do this!"

He said while gently pushing me into the wall that was behind us. He tucked my hair behind me ears and leaned in to kiss me.

Going with it I closed my eyes and leaned into meet him halfway. (ok now meet me halfway is stuck in my head your welcome😂)

Kissing his lips I smiled into the kiss and pulled away.

"Last time I checked we were waiting until midnight?" I laughed.

"right! sorry"

I just wrapped my arms around his waste and looked up at him.

"you know you look nice from this angle!"

"the angle where you can see up my nose? nice" he laughed.

Hitting his arm lightly I could feel him sinking down to the floor.

"Mendes what are you doing?" I asked.

"i'm sitting! my legs are tired"

"ok!"

I sat against the wall with him and we just snuggled up to each other.

Around 20 minutes later we could hear everyone start counting down from 10.

Me and Shawn were super comfortable where we were so we just stayed on the floor. Looking up at him when everyone got to one he tilted my head a little and kissed me.

Fireworks were going off literally and inside me. Pulling away from each other we smiled.

"Happy New Years my angel! I'm glad I got to spend it with you!" Shawn said.

"Happy New Year babe! I'm so excited to spend the next year with you" I smiled up at him.

"me to!"
