Infinity

"Hey all our troubles gone like when we were young take me back to where we all began here we are again like we should have been oh my lady I have this dance?" Shawn sang into my ear.

Laughing and looking up into his sparkling chocolate brown eyes I smiled.

"my momma says to pick the best and you are it!" he smiled down at me.

Leaning my head on his chest we just swayed back and forth in the empty barn we had run to.

I was suppose to be getting married this afternoon but here I was a run away bride.

"I can't believe we did that!" I blurted as the realization of the moment hit me.

"Me either actually, I was to nervous to stand up and say anything but now here we are! I told you that i need you baby" Shawn said while hugging me.

A few hours earlier

"Y/N! you look stunning darling!" my mom said trying not to tear up.

"(insert boys name here) is one lucky guy!" my sister smiled at me.

Yeah he is a lucky guy. He isn't lucky to have me though, the day I was suppose to commit my life to someone else Shawn was on my mind.

"Y/N! Ready to go?" my dad said coming into the room.

I swallowed my nerves and nodded.

Linking arms with my dad the double doors were opened and we were walking down the isle. My nerves had come back in full swing, everyone always said they would go away once you saw your man standing at the alter. Mine didn't.

That wasn't my man standing up there.

After my dad had handed me off and the priest went through everything he finally got to the good part.

"If anyone has a reason as to why these two should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace" he said.

Waiting an excruciatingly painful few minutes, nothing happened.

Waiting.

Waiting.

Waiting.

Watching a hand shoot up closer to the back I watched Shawn stand.

"I object." he blurted.

It was like a scene out of a movie. Shawn walked into the isle and looked at me, holding his hand out I smiled at him. Walking down off the alter I ran down the isle to meet Shawn. Hearing many people gasp I knew everyone was shocked. But in that moment no one else mattered except me and Shawn.

He was my man.

Running out of the church we got into his vehicle and he drove us to a deserted barn.

"I love you so much Shawn!"

"I love you to! Your my infinity Y/N!"

He smiled kissing my forehead he just wrapped his arms back around me and started swaying us again humming Infinity.
