Baby's gone

Y/N's P.O.V

Sitting down on the couch next to Shawn I sighed. My stomach had been cramping all day, I figured it was just the baby moving around so I didn't think much of it.

"Hello my babies!" Shawn smiled while rubbing my stomach and kissing my temple.

Shifting uncomfortably on the couch Shawn noticed.

"you okay my love?"

"yeah i'm fine, I just think that baby is moving a lot today"

"oh okay! That's exciting!" he smiled.

Smiling back at him he got up off the couch and helped me up. Walking down the hallway and into our bedroom I crawled into the sheets and Shawn followed and got in next to me.

"Your so cute!" I smiled.

"thanks so are you!" he said kissing my nose and turning off the lights.

A few hours later I got up with a sharp pain in my stomach. Sitting up I tried not to cry but the pain was to much. Letting a few tears fall I could feel the bed moving a little.

"Y/N? are you okay?" he asked sitting up and turning the light on.

"I don't know" I cried.

"it's okay well figure it out"

Pulling the sheets back to get up I looked down at the sheets and they were covered in blood. Shawn was in the bathroom and I just screamed.

"Y/N!" he came running in.

"okay it's okay, just calm down i'm taking you to the hospital." he said rubbing my back. I was only a few weeks pregnant, how could this have happened.

Getting up with Shawn he helped me change my pants and he grabbed me a towel to sit on in the car. The whole way to the hospital I just had tears streaming down my face and kept telling Shawn how sorry I was.

"I'm so sorry Shawn"

"hey Y/N! please don't be sorry this is not your fault. None of this is your fault it's okay"

Finally making it to the hospital Shawn pulled into a parking stall and helped me out of the car. Walking inside he went to the front desk and told the lady what was happening. Soon a nurse came and got us ushering us down the hallway. Giving us a private room she left and told us that the doctor would be in soon.

"Shawn..." I whispered.

"yeah baby?"

"I'm scared"

"I know, but everything is going to be okay I promise"

"okay" I agreed smiling slightly.

Suddenly the door opened and a doctor walked in.

"Hello, Ms. (Y/L/N). It says here you woke up to bleeding and your pregnant?" she asked.

"Yeah, that's correct"

"Okay let me just check here and then i'll be back in a little." she smiled.

Coming over to me she checked me out and then smiled and left. Once she left I burst into tears again and Shawn came over and hugged me.

"it's okay my love" he said.

The doctor came back in and didn't look like she had any good news.

"I'm so sorry to have to tell you guys this but Y/N your experiencing a miscarriage."

"okay..." was all that came out of my mouth.

"I'll let you guys have a moment alone and i'll come back with some pain killers."

"thanks!" Shawn smiled at her.

Wrapping my arms around Shawn I just buried my head into his chest. Trying not to think about the news we had just been given. The doctor came in and gave us the pain killers. Soon after we left and Shawn took me home.

Getting out of the car he led me inside and made me go to our room with him. Going into the bathroom he started the water in the bathtub. I changed and got into the tub sinking into the water.

"I'll be right back my love, your okay here?"

"yeah"

Watching him leave I just stared at the water. I guess we could always try again but it was always going to be sad that we lost this baby. A little while later Shawn came back with my fluffy bathrobe and a towel. Getting out of the bath he wrapped me in the towel and dried me off. Putting my robe on I went and sat on the bed. Shawn left again and came back with a pair of my pjs.

"I put them in the dryer so they would be warm for you!"

"Thanks baby" I smiled.

I put my pjs on and went downstairs with Shawn. The rest of the day we just sat on the couch together and watched movies anything to take our minds off what happened this morning.
