Nightmares

Y/N's P.O.V

Turning off the TV after me and Shawn finished watching The Office I put the remote on the night stand and later my head on his chest. Wrapping my arms around him I snuggled in and he wrapped his arms around me and pulled the blankets up over us. Rubbing my back I let my eyes shut and drifted off to sleep.

Later in the night I could feel Shawn moving around a lot. Sitting up I turned on the lamp and looked over at Shawn. Seeing the tears running down his face I tapped him gently on the shoulder.

"Shawn baby wake up" I said.

He jolted up and was panting looking at me he started sobbing.

"hey hey your okay" I said pulling him into me.

"I-I couldn't do anything" he said.

"It's okay" I rubbed his back.

"I thought I lost you Y/N"

"you could never lose me Shawn" I smiled at him.

"It just all felt so real. One second you were there and the next you weren't"

Just holding him close to me I continued to rub his back and whisper sweet nothings to him.

"Thanks Y/N you can turn out the lights now" he smiled.

"okay!" I said turning off the lamp.

Snuggling back into Shawn I fell asleep once again with the boy who made me feel so happy.
