Y/N's P.O.V

Walking into the concert venue with Y/BF/N (your best friends name) I was starting to get a little nervous. There had been this rumour around that Shawn had started doing something like Justin Bieber and his one less lonely girl. Shawn called this girl his Ruin Girl and he would have his crew span out during the show and find a girl.

I was nervous that it was going to be me. I don't know why but I just really was freaking out about possibly going on the stage in front of all those other girls. Walking to our seats me and Y/BF/N looked around and saw the stage. I knew Shawn would look like an ant from here but I was happy that we got to come to his show no matter how far away the seats were. Watching Julia Micheals walk on stage I started getting really excited!

"I miss you, yeah I miss you" me and Y/BF/N yelled to the song.

"I'm sure you guys are excited to see Shawn Mendes! I'll be performing one last song and he'll be coming on" Julia said.

That's when I lost my shit I started screaming and yelling. Super pumped to see Shawn.

Shawn's P.O.V

Watching from the side of the stage I watched as Julia performed her last song. I had already sent out my crew to look for my Ruin Girl and they would be coming back with her halfway through my set. I always made sure that my crew looked like people who were just coming to enjoy the concert so people wouldn't freak out. After Julia had thanked the crowd she ran off the stage and came over to me.

"Hey Julia! Great set!" I smiled hugging her.

"Thanks Shawn! Good Luck out there!" she smiled after hugging me.

Smiled at me she walked away to go get changed. I walked towards my platform and waited for my call to set up.

Y/N's P.O.V

The concert was almost at the halfway mark and I was less nervous about being picked to come on stage. I thought that they would have picked someone by now.

Standing I was swaying to never be alone and just singing. All of a sudden someone came up to my and tapped my shoulder. Turning around I saw a girl and she motioned for me to follow her. Turning to Y/BF/N I told her I would be back. Following the girl out to concourse she turned to me and smiled.

"I'm picking you to be Shawn's Ruin Girl!" she looked at me.

"really? oh my gosh! Okay!" I smiled.

My nerves coming back a little bit. Following the lady we finally made it to the backstage area and she told me where to wait and when to go onstage. Finally I could hear the opening cords of ruin and I was ushered towards the stage. Walking on I smiled and waved at everyone. Shawn came and walked towards me and grabbed my hand. Singing to me he smiled and sat me down on the stool they had brought out.

Sitting down I swear to god it felt like it was just me and Shawn in the whole arena. Smiling I couldn't stop looking at him. Finally the song finished and we both walked off stage together.

"Thanks for being my Ruin Girl!" he smiled while hugging me.

"your welcome, I had a lot of fun!" I smiled.

"This is going to be probably against the rules but i'd really like to see you again!"

No words were coming out of my mouth I was so shocked. All I could do was slightly nod my head.

"Okay great!" he chucked.

Grabbing out my phone he put his number in and I texted him.

"Thanks again Shawn! Also my name is Y/N, sorry I was to stunned to say anything a minute ago!"

"that's okay! I have to get back out there but my team is going to set you up with a few things and hopefully we will see each other soon!" he smiled while hugging me.

Watching him walk away the lady who got me before came back and gave me a bag filled with merch. There was double of everything I assumed they knew I came with someone and didn't want them to feel left out. Walking back to my seat I couldn't believe any of that actually happened.
