I heard my alarm go off. Waking up I reached over to my bedside table to grab it. Turning the alarm off I looked at my notifications.

From Rexha- hey bae! I'll be by your house in about twenty minutes to pick you up!

To Rexha- okie!

Getting up and out of my bed I walked over to my closet and picked out a dress. Pulling my hair into a low ponytail I pulled on my fluffy hiking boots and walked downstairs.

Walking out the front door after putting my jacket on I met Rexha in her car.

"Hey bae!"

"Hey" she said while giving me a hug.

"So who do you think is going to give you a rose today?"

"Probably Jake! I hope?" I laughed.

"what do you mean probably!" she laughed.

Once we got to school we made our way to our classes. Walking into my class I sat down and waited for the cupid's to come in.

Let me just explain! Everyday on the 13th of February at school we have people get others roses and write little notes on them. Then they get handed out in the period before lunch.

The teacher had just started the lesson when the cupid's walked in. They went down the rows of desks and handed out the roses.

A few were given to me I looked at one of the notes and it read.

Tell me if i'm wrong and this is crazy
but I got you this rose and I need to know will you let it die or let it grow?

Instantly I knew it was from Shawn. He was always trying to get my attention.

Once the bell rang I got up out of my desk and picked up my things and roses and left the class. Walking to the hallway I heard someone calling my name. Turning around I saw Shawn.

"Hey! Y/N did you get my rose?"

"Ya I think I did!" I smiled at him.

"awesome! I'm having a party tonight, my moms out of town and I was just wondering if you wanted to come?"

"I might be there!" I said and walked away from him.

Walking into the cafeteria after putting my stuff in my locker I found Rexha, Lily, and Joanne.

"Hey guys!"

"Hey Y/N! did you get roses from anyone other than Jake!" Lily asked.

"Ya! Shawn gave me one and I got a few others but I couldn't tell from who! How about you guys?" I asked.

"We got a few!"

The rest of the day went by a little slower than I would have liked but I was happy when it was over.

Rexha drove us all back to her house and we all got ready for Shawn's party together.
