I was balanced on Louis, walking down the hallway. His hands were gripping my hips, supporting most of my weight.
“Do you want to go to my room, or I can get one of the lads if you want me too?”
“If you’re not doing anything, can I just go to your room?” I asked. I sincerely hoped I wasn’t annoying him.
“That’s fine, babe.” He helped me limp the rest of the way to his room.
Once inside his room, he let go of my waist, only to close the door. Once he released me, I started making my way to his bed. I heard the door close before feeling him grip my hips again.
“Woah, babe. Slow down there. Let me help you.” He soothed, as he helped me lower myself onto his mattress.
“I’m not that helpless you know….”
“Yeah, yeah. You’re invincible. I got it.”
He pulled back his covers, allowing me to get cuddle up in them. Once I was comfortable, he took a seat next to me.
“Do you wanna talk about it?”
“No.” He smiled. I liked him. Liam would’ve gone into hysterics.
“Wanna watch a movie than? I know Liam has a butt load of movies somewhere!”
I laughed and nodded. Louis got up, and left the room. He returned a moment later shaking his head. He held two movies. Peter Pan and Toy Story.
“Liam obsession with Disney movies is unreal!” He chuckled as he held out the movies for me to pick.
“Let’s watch Peter Pan.” I couldn’t bear to watch Toy Story again, knowing Liam was in the other room probably sucking face with some girl.
“Good choice.”
He walked over and plopped the movie in. Once the movie started, he grabbed the remote from the top of the TV. He walked over to me and motioned for me to scoot over, which I happily abided by. He sunk into the pillows next to me. I watched the screen, trying to pay attention to the movie. It was becoming increasing difficult. Not because the movie was boring, but because Louis continued to mess with the volume.
“Give me the remote. Now!”
“No. You’re hurt. I have to take care of the remote for you.” He grinned.
“Hand the freaking remote over, you ADD-prone boy!”
He laughed before responding. “I’m Peter Pan!” He busted out in laughter.
“You sure do think you’re funny.”
“I’m funny as hell and you know it!” He grinned, snuggling down into the covers. I sighed.
He threw the remote to the ground. I accepted that. I thought that the volume staying the same would relax me, but it didn’t. I was still extremely restless. My mind kept wandering over to Liam. I needed something more distracting. I glanced up at Louis, who was unexpectedly already looking down at me.
“Do you want to talk about it now?”
“No. I don’t want to care.”
“But you do. Part of the reason that is, is because you don’t have answers.”
“What answers do I need? Liam has a girlfriend. Good for him. Great even!”
“You need answers like, they’ve been dating for about a year. Her name is Danielle Peazer and she’s a dancer. They_” I cut him off.
“No! I don’t need answers like that!” I hissed.
The stinging sensation in the pit of my stomach returned as well as it did in my eyes.
“Come here.” He sighed, bringing me close to him, engulfing me in a hug.
“No! I’m not crying.”
“You’re not crying.” He agreed.
“I’m not hurt.”
“You’re not hurt.”
“I don’t care.”
“You don’t care.”
That was the last thing we said before tears started streaming down my face. The feeling of being replaced isn’t welcoming. I don’t know why I thought he was just waiting to come back and I would be his number one again. I sat there, telling him that we weren’t the same as before he left, and he I am, crying, because I was replaced. What a dam hypocrite I was?
Louis continued rubbing my back, holding on to me tight. I was soon soothed by listening to his breathing pattern. That was, until, Liam decided he wanted to see what we were up to with his girlfriend.
I heard the door open and looked up, seeing Liam in the doorway. I quickly pushed away from Louis, my body protesting from the sudden force.
“What happened?” Liam rushed by the bed, taking me in his arms.
“Get off me!” I pushed Liam off.
“Liam, she’s fine.” Louis warned.
“Obviously not! She’s in here crying!” He yelled.
“Liam! Leave!” Louis hissed.
“No. Not till I find out what the hell you did to her!”
“I didn’t do anything. Please Liam. Take Danielle and go do something. Go on a date.”
I swallowed hard as I processed the words through my head.
“Sarah needs me!”
“No. She doesn’t. Liam, go. Now!” Louis was grabbing at my arms, lowering me back down into his chest.
I saw hardness in Louis eyes, so I looked back up at Liam’s. His were returning the hard stare, until he looked at me. His eyes softened, but when he saw the hard look I was giving back to him, they turned to hurt. I immediately regretted giving him cold eyes.
“Are you two dating now or something?”
“Liam! Leave, now! Before you say something you’ll regret.”
“Whatever mate. Have fun with her.”
He walked out of the room, wrapping his arm around Danielle’s waist. The stinging sensation turned to absolute hatred. If he thought I was a bitch before, he better prepare for when I can get around on my own again. Shit is about to go down!
