I banged on the door, forgetting that the key was in my back pocket. I reached around for It just as the door opened.

“What do you_” His eyes followed behind me, straight to Eleanor.

I watched as he swallowed the lump in his throat before biting his lip.

“Hi Louis.” She smiled.

“Eleanor.”

“I’ve missed you.” She whispered.

I looked in-between the two before realizing that there was some unfinished business that was about to be taken care of. I fumbled with the key before excusing myself, quickly walking down the hall again. I listened as the door closed. I looked back and saw that the two were no longer outside. I felt bad. I knew Louis didn’t want to see her, but maybe this is good.

I rode down the elevator by myself. I was tapping my shoe, impatiently waiting for the doors to open again. When they finally did, a group of kids, wet from the pool, blocked me. I pushed through them, praying they didn’t get my clothes soaked. When I made it, I stopped to examine myself. I sighed as I touched the wet spot on the side of my shirt. It could’ve been worse.

I looked up, seeing Liam sitting by himself in the lobby. He was tapping away on his phone as I approached him. He barely looked up when I sat down next to him.

“Louis is going to be mad at you.”

“Whatever.” He replied, not looking up from his phone.

“You honestly can’t be mad that he kissed me.”

“You honestly can’t tell me what I can be and what I can’t.”

“Seriously Liam? Grow up a bit.”

He let out a short laugh.

“Grow up a bit? You’re the one that won’t move on from the past!”

“I’ve moved on Liam! It’s you that won’t move on now!”

“You’re joking right? When I begged you to let me come, I wanted to come. Not Louis. Just me.”

“Really? Then why the hell are you bringing Danielle back?”

“Because you two won’t quit sucking face!”

“You invited her before you even caught us, you ass!”

He rolled his eyes, going back to his phone.

“What? Nothing to come back with?”

“I’m not going to fight with you. It’s pointless.”

“Then why do you always instigate it?”

“You cause it Sarah. Not me. Don’t pull it’s my fault shit on me.”

“It is your fault.”

“You’re unbelievable.” I stood up and started to walk away.

I felt a strong hand grab my arm and spin me back around. I looked up to see Liam breathing hard. I read the words in his eyes before he spoke them.

“I was supposed to be your first kiss.”

“Liam_” I sighed.

“You know I was supposed to be.”

“That wasn’t even my first kiss.” I probably shouldn’t have said that, but I felt like this was the time to get everything off my chest.

He ran his fingers through his hair before backing up.
