A/N: warning: Brallon.

-

*Do you want to come over for a while after school?*

I texted Dallon during my last period of the day, already planning on having Brendon over right after school. Josh wished me luck with my interrogation before I left my last class and I prepared myself for whatever I was about to get from the two of them.

Brendon met me at my house right after school and I sat in my room with him, talking for a few minutes before I heard the knock on the door signaling that Dallon had arrived.

"I'll be right back," I said, getting up and walking to the door to let Dallon in.

"Hi," I smiled at him, and he smiled back before stepping in.

"Hey, did you need help with homework or did you just want to hang out?" he asked, taking off his shoes.

"Just hang out," I shrugged. "We can sit in my room."

"Okay," he nodded, walking before me down to my room. He opened the door and saw Brendon sitting on my bed. "Oh, hey Brendon. I didn't know you were here."

"Yeah, I didn't know you were coming over too," he said, turning to me with confusion. Dallon sat down on my bed with Brendon and I closed the door behind me, turning around with my arms crossed to the two of them.

"Yeah, and I don't know what is going on between the two of you but I better get some answers right now," I said back. Brendon's face changed and he looked at Dallon, who looked slightly uncomfortable.

"Charlie, I don't--" Dallon started.

"Don't give me that, 'I don't know what you're talking about' bullshit, Dallon," I rolled my eyes. "I'm not moving from in front of this door until I get an explanation."

Brendon shifted uncomfortably. "Dallon, we need to tell her."

Dallon put his hand over his forehead. "Now that you said something, yeah."

"Tell me what?" I demanded, my heart racing. This couldn't be happening. "Are you cheating on me, Brendon?"

"No! Never, of course not!" he said. He looked over at Dallon. "Um..."

"It happened a long time ago," Dallon sighed. "Before you and Brendon were together."

"What did?" I asked, growing impatient.

*flashback (3rd person)*

Brendon watched as Charlie pulled away from Darren's grip in the circle of that god-awful truth or dare game, looking around with a panicked look on her face and then ran down the hall to the bathroom. He was fuming, unable to believe he just witnessed what happened in front of his own eyes.

"Brendon? Where are you--" Emma tried to stop Brendon but he had yanked out of her hands before she could even finish her sentence and was storming out the front door to the party. He could hardly see straight, he was so angry. He heard Emma calling after him, but he ignored it until she wasn't calling after him anymore. Only then was it that he realized he had walked almost 2 blocks away from the party.

He felt a faint buzz in his pocket and pulled his phone out to see that Charlie had tried to call him, he just barely missed the call but she was the last person he wanted to talk to at that moment. All he could think about was the fact that she had kissed not just one but two people that night, including some random girl he knew for a fact she had no idea who it was.

"Fuck!" he screamed, clenching his fists and holding everything within him not to smash his phone against the concrete below his feet. He rubbed his eyes, unsure what to do in this situation. He couldn't go back home this angry, he'd for sure make a ruckus and wake his mother, and then she'd know that he had sneaked out to go to the party with intentions to keep an eye on Charlie. It wasn't his problem that she decided to make shitty decisions.
