NOTEBOOK

You were talking with your best friend, Jun, when suddenly he pointed to your back. You turned back and saw where he pointed at. Kwon Soonyoung.

"Hey Y/N. Notice something weird about Hoshi?" Jun asked while looking at him. You did notice something weird. "I do. He seems quiet these days. It's weird since he's mostly talkative. I wonder if something happened to him." Jun just shrugged.

Every now and then, both you and Jun would glance at Hoshi. He keeps covering his face with his notebook and it seems like he's been staring at someone. He's really acting weird.

It was now lunch time so you and Jun went to the canteen together. You sat across each other as usual. "I'm still bothered about Hoshi. I should ask him later why he's been acting that way. It's not normal anymore." Jun ruffled his hair in frustration.

You giggled at him and fixed his hair back, "Don't overthink about it, Jun. Why don't you just eat and talk about this later?" He nodded and both of you ate lunch.

After some time, the bell rang for the next subject. You separated ways since you weren't in the same class together. It was quite boring without Jun but you were used to it now.

Finally, you were able to survive this boring class. You exited the room, only to be greeted by a grinning Jun. You gave him a weird face.

"Y/N! Y/N! You won't believe what I just found out." He held your shoulders and shook you. To avoid getting dizzy, you hit him playfully. "And what would that be?" You crossed your arms, waiting for him to reply.

"Umm..." He paused for a while. "Never mind. You know what, let's just go home." He placed his arms around you. You sighed, "Well, that was useless."

The next day came and just like before, Hoshi was still doing the same thing. Covering his face with his notebook and still staring but now, he was staring at your direction. You noticed both him and Jun are looking at each other. Something's going on here. I feel suspicious.

"Yah, Jun. Are you hiding something from me?" He nodded to Hoshi before looking at you. "Huh? Umm... No. I'm not. Not at all. Don't worry." You weren't convinced since he was laughing so you rolled your eyes at him.

"I remembered when you told me you like Hoshi. You still like him, right?" Why so sudden Wen Junhui? Yes, you do like him and he's friends with Jun so that's why you two were so concerned about him.

"Please stop. I don't wanna talk about it right now." You just wanted to know what they were up to but you knew he won't say a thing about it so you were annoyed. "What if I tell you he actually likes someone and that's why he's been acting this way?" Jun raised his eyebrows.

You were shocked. Hoshi? Likes someone? I bet it's not me. Is this what Jun wanted to tell me? "Jun, please stop. I know it's not me. Don't make me feel even worse." You stood up to leave but he stopped you.

"Don't be so moody. You're not even sure who that lucky girl is. What if it's you?" "Stop your nonsense. That's the last time I'm telling you to stop." You let go of his grip and left.

Jun looked at Hoshi with a worried expression, thinking that you now hated both of them for messing with you. Hoshi sighed thinking he should just give up.

He covered his face with his hands. Jun comforted him. "It's okay Hoshi. I'm sure she doesn't hate you. Well in fact, she likes you too. Why don't you give that notebook to her?"

"Please it give to her. I don't feel good seeing her annoyed, probably because of me. I should just stop liking her." Hoshi sighed.

Why is my life such a mess especially when both your friends like each other without them knowing and you have to do everything for them? Jun thought. He was starting to get annoyed, too. They should fix this themselves.

Before he left, you went back to get your stuff that you left on your chair. "Y/N." Jun called. He handed you Hoshi's notebook. You were now confused. He just left you there.

What's up with him? You read what was on the notebook and found out that Hoshi had been writing things about you. Things about how much he loves you.

"Her smile is so pretty. She's just perfect. I bet she doesn't feel the same way. ..........I love you so much Y/N."

You read the whole thing. You can't believe he wrote all those things about you. "Hoshi..." You called but he ignored you. Instead, he stood up ready to leave.

"Hoshi." Now, you grabbed his arm making him face you. His head was still down, avoiding eye contact. "Y/N, I'm sorry. I know you think I'm weird. I just —." "I like you too." You interrupted him.

He now looked at you in the eyes. "I always did like you. Why didn't you tell me you like me?" You held his hands while smiling. He smiled back, "I didn't know how to since you're always together with Jun. I even thought you were together with him." Both of you laughed.

"So, will you be my girlfriend?" He held your hands. "Of course." Both of you hugged each other. "Finally. Both of you made up. You don't know how stressed I got because of you two." Someone said out of nowhere.

You turned to see Jun leaning against the door. Hoshi just laughed at him. "Please don't leave me Y/N. You're still my best friend."

He held your shoulders and shook you just like what happened the last time. "Yah! Don't do that to my girlfriend." Hoshi pushed Jun playfully.

"She's my best friend. I can do that to her." Jun said in a serious tone. "Calm down, Jun. I won't leave you. If it wasn't for you, this won't be happening now."

You looked at Hoshi and he smiled at you. "Enough with the flirting already. I feel lonely. Let's just go." Jun grabbed both you and Hoshi out the door.
