You and Mingyu are bestfriends. He likes you but you already have a boyfriend. Everytime both of you hangout together, he always wanted to confess to you but he can't. At the end of the day, he regrets not confessing to you. It has always been like this ever since you had a boyfriend.

"Mingyu!" You waved to him. Mingyu flinched and looked at you. He has been thinking a lot these days. "Let's hangout today. Let's go to the new cafe, my treat." You continued as you went nearer to him. Your presence made him even more nervous and you noticed it, but you didn't mind.

He slowly nodded. The two of you went to the cafe and ordered. He was staring at you while taking a sip of his coffee. "How are you with your boyfriend? Is everything okay?" He asked nervously. "I guess." You shrugged, not looking at him. The truth is, your boyfriend broke up with you earlier and you wanted to calm yourself down.

It felt so awkward between you two. You already finished your drink, as well as Mingyu. He wanted to confess now but he didn't. After thinking, he decided to confess to you. He was supposed to talk, when you suddenly spoke ahead of him. "I think I should go now. Thanks for hanging out with me, Mingyu. It made me happy, bye." You stood up and left.

Then again, he regretted not confessing to you earlier. He went home feeling sad. He sat down on the floor and leaned on the wall. He started talking to himself, "Mingyu, you're so stupid. You had the chance but you didn't use it. Why are you such a coward? Is it because you knew that she was sad? Her boyfriend broke up with her, just confess already." He hit himself in the head and slowly teared up.

"What should I tell her? 'You're pretty', 'I like you, please be mine', 'You make me feel happy'. They don't sound okay. What should I say for her to accept me? What other words can I use to describe her? She's just too perfect, I love her so much." Mingyu was overthinking. On the other hand, you were crying. Crying over your boyfriend.

You just wanted to be with someone who loves you for who you are, but you didn't know that it was Mingyu all along. Another day came, you visited him again. "Mingyu! Let's hangou-." You stopped when you saw him crying. It was rare to see him cry and you didn't like it. "Mingyu, what's wrong?" You asked as you made him face you. He looked down but his tears were visible.

He hugged you tight, so you hugged him back. "I'm sorry." He said softly and it confused you. "Sorry for what?" You wiped his tears with your thumb and he replied, "For being a coward. I knew your boyfriend broke up with you and I knew you were sad. I really want to tell you something but I'm afraid you might not like it."

"What do you want to tell me?" It was silent for a few minutes before he sighed. "I want to tell you how much I love you, but I can't find the right words. 'Beautiful' isn't enough and 'Kind' is just a compliment. I don't know what to say for you to accept me. I want to tell you the things your ex-boyfriend told you before." Mingyu continued to ramble.

You stopped for a moment while looking straight into his sincere eyes. He loves me? He was always there for me but why didn't he say anything? "Mingyu." He started tearing up again when you said his name. "You don't need many nice words for me to accept you. I just need three words from you and it's enough."

"T-three words?" He stuttered. You went closer to him and whispered, "I love you." Suddenly, he pulled you into a soft kiss. A kiss he has been waiting to happen. When you kissed back, it was like an addicting kiss. Both of you didn't want to stop but you had to catch your breaths. "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you." Mingyu repeated as he hugged you again. "No words can describe how happy I am to have you."
