COUSIN

You were sitting on the couch with your boyfriend, Jihoon, just watching a k-drama called, "Remember". An intense part was playing until your phone buzzed.

"Hello." You said as you stood up, away from the television. "Y/N, this is Youngjae. I'll come over in a bit, bye." Then he hung up just like that. You snickered at his weirdness.

Youngjae was your cousin and he had been away for months because of work. You went to check on Jihoon and he was holding a pillow tightly as the intense scene continued playing.

A knock was heard later on. You went to open it and got greeted by a tight hug. Both you and Youngjae were laughing without Jihoon noticing.

Since you didn't want to disturb him, you led Youngjae to the other couch just across the room. "Hey, isn't that your boyfriend?" He asked and you nodded.

Jihoon suddenly stood up facing the television. "You jerk. You deserve to go to jail." He said loudly and it shocked both you and Youngjae.

Youngjae widened his eyes and looked at you. He was easily scared of Jihoon because he thought that he was strict. Youngjae held your arm and said, "I'm scared of him."

You can't help but laugh at his reaction. Not realizing that your laugh was too loud, it caught Jihoon's attention. He now looked at your direction.

He immediately bowed to Youngjae as soon as he saw him and Youngjae did the same. "I'm sorry, I didn't know you came to visit your cousin."

Jihoon said and sat back down, feeling embarrassed. Even though you wanted to watch the series with Jihoon, you chose to talk to Youngjae about your memories and updates of your lives.

Your boyfriend finished watching an episode which took an hour but you were still talking so he continued watching. 4 episodes had passed and the series finally ended.

"I guess I have to get going now. I'll see you tomorrow for the reunion, though. Don't forget to bring Woozi with you." Youngjae stated as he was heading to the door to leave.

Both of you hugged once more, "I'll see you tomorrow, Y/N." As soon as he left, Jihoon pouted at you. "What's wrong?" You asked while going to him.

You sat beside him and rested your head on his shoulder. He sighed, "I'm disappointed. We weren't able to watch the series together. It would've been better watching it with you."

He said as he pulled you closer to him. "I wanted to watch it with you but Youngjae came over. I also wanted to talk to him because I really missed him." You replied.

"I'm not blaming him but he just ruined our moment. You missed a lot, you know. He stole you from me without even telling me."

"You're still blaming him. I can just watch it some other time. Don't worry, he's not stealing me from you.Weren't you embarrassed a while ago?"

"Oh, shut up." Jihoon tackled me down playfully on the couch. "Next time, he should inform me personally." You nodded, unsure if it was possible.

Youngjae was shy and scared of him, as what he said a while ago. You chuckled at the thought. "By the way, he said that you're also invited to the reunion tomorrow."

"Seriously? Why didn't he just tell me? I really need to talk to him."
