Jenny’s POV

“You’re still going even though you two kissed?” Sarah retorted at me as I tried on different outfits as I tried to figure out which one I was wearing to our Valentine Best Friend meeting.  I don’t have much time since Harry wanted to leave well before dinner time.

“Yeah, I said I would do it,” I said simply, “There’s nothing complicated between us despite what I did, but I couldn’t resist him, Sarah.  He was just right there all naked and handsome and sexy,” I coughed as my voice plunged a few pitches, “Seriously, I don’t care how you feel for Liam even if he was all bare in your presence, you would’ve gone for it,”

Sarah threw a disgusted face, “Are you kidding me?  I would’ve—”

“Kissed him to no end and run your hands all his body?” I suggested.

“No, you perv,” Sarah rebuked back, “I would’ve kindly asked him to put something on,”

I spat out as I laughed, “Seriously?  You would ask a hot jerk to put something on?” Sarah crossed her arms and stared at me coldly. “Wow, I do feel perverted now,”

“I told you, you were basically getting back together,” Sarah had the victorious look on his face, “You trying to resist him is like watching a positive and a negative end of a battery trying to resist each other, it doesn’t work,”

“We’re not dating for the millionth time, we’re just…friends,” I emphasized the last word.

“For how long?  How long until you finally realize that you two get each other better than most people will ever have the opportunity to get someone that way? Huh?” Sarah asked back.

“Shouldn’t you be on a date?” I asked her randomly.

“Yeah, we are meeting up,” Sarah said sadly, “I told him I would allow him to see me even though we were fighting.  He wants to apologize and maybe I’ll feel better about us after it,”

“Good, that’s what you need right now,” I encouraged her, “Just be open to what he has to say, surely you can figure it out.”

“I hope so,” Sarah said sadly, “I want us to work out.  Did you think I got carried away the other day?”

“I mean considering the circumstances, not really,” I admitted.  “Just talk to him, I’m sure he can clarify thing for you,” I checked the time and I squealed.  “Quick, which outfit have I tried do you like?”

Sarah looked at my outfits, “I like the black dress or the dress with the red and black lacy pattern thing,”

“I’ll do the lacy one then,” I answered.  I quickly put on the dress and put on some small black heels (so I’m not taller than Harry).  I grabbed my red wallet as I quickly put on some makeup.  “I have to go, bye, Sarah!”  I heard Sarah say bye to me as I walked out the door.

To say my dorm lobby was full would be an understatement.  At least twenty to thirty guys all decked out in suits waited for girls in the lobby.  All of them at one point or another were taking their watches out hoping their date would show up.  The other people in the lobby were in the kitchen gathering as friends and baking each other goodies acting like total goofballs.  I really wished that’s what my group was doing instead of splitting up like we were.  The looks on the guys’ faces as their girlfriends or that crush they finally asked out as the girl comes out in a beautiful date is truly priceless.
