Let's Go to the Fair - Part 1

Jenny’s POV

                The invites to third round mixers have all been mailed and Sarah, Callie, and I have all been invited to come to mixers.  Callie is going to Ko Ju Gii’s, I’m going to Venustas’, and Sarah is heading to LOGE’s.  I texted Harry if all the boys had gotten theirs and he said all the guys got in as well.  It was exciting to see everyone was headed in a good direction club wise.  Zayn is staying steady as head beau at Theta Mu while Harry is going to the third round for Zeta Beta, Niall will be headed to Cavaliers, and Liam will proceed on to HMS.

                It’s an exciting day for all of us and since it was the weekend we had all day to celebrate the occasion.  Right now I’m in my room with Callie and Sarah after an exciting party last night and good news this morning from the clubs.  “I think we should do something special since we’re all still in the running to get into the clubs.” Callie stated.

                “Yeah, see if all the guys are available,” Sarah chuckled.  I pull out my phone and I texted Harry if we could hang out with all the guys sometime today.  I got a simple reply of yes and he asked if I would call him once I determined the plans with Callie.  The boys never seemed to know what to do so they always let us do the picking.

                “Harry says they are all available and they cannot wait to hear from us about our plans.” I giggled.

                “Well then.  We should we do?  I bet Zayn and Louis are going to the state school tonight, so we probably shouldn’t do something that will take all day long.  Any ideas for this afternoon?” Callie asked.

                “Well, I think the fair is going on this weekend if we wanted to show the boys some true Americana.” I winked to her.  Callie smiles and her face lights up.

                “The county fair is going on?” Callie said devilishly.  I nod eagerly. “That should be wildly entertaining.  We could ride rides, show them all kinds of animals, pig out on fair food, and play games.  Not only that but they get to see some true rednecks in the process?  Count me in.”

                “Is it going to cost a lot of money?” Sarah asked nervously.

                “We’ll see.  I don’t think it’ll too bad.” I told her.  Sarah simply nodded in agreement.  I dial Harry’s number on the phone and call him.

                “Hey, Jenny.  Have you decided what we’re doing today?” Harry asked me as soon as he answered.

                “Yeah, we were thinking of going to the county fair.  Does that sound like fun to y’all?” I asked him back.  I should some muttering and chatting over the phone.

                “We’d love to go.  Zayn and Louis will not be joining us though because they are going to go see their girlfriends today.” Harry told me.

                “That’s totally fine.  We can have fun with just the three of y’all.  I can’t wait to see you.  What time do you want to meet up?”

                “We’ll show up at your dorm here in about 30 minutes.” Harry responded.

                “Perfect!” I answered. “See ya later.”

                “Bye, babe.” Harry hung up.  Huh, I don’t remember him calling me ‘babe’ before.  That’s a fun name.   I shut down my phone and Callie and Sarah are looking at me expectantly.
