Zayn’s POV

I adjusted my tie methodically as I try to stay calm.  Today was the big day.  Today I would be married to the love of my life and we will live with each other forever.  Trying to stay calm is proving to be a hard task as all my nerves are on edge with excitement.  I fidget my hands, my feet, and move my head sideways trying to contain my energy.  I hear a knock on the door, “Come in,”

Niall walked into the cabin.  Since we’re at a camp and the bathroom space is limited, they let us borrow a couple of the cabins.  I have my own while the other four lads are in the big cabin close to me. “Are you ready?  The ceremony is due to start in a minute,”

“Yeah, I’m ready,” I answered uncertainly.  I took one last deep breath as I moved towards the Niall and the door.  When I moved next to Niall, he pat a warm hand on my shoulder as we walked to the gym were the ceremony was being held.  When I close the cabin door, I see the other 3 lads ahead.  Liam, Niall, and Louis are all dressed as groomsmen with Liam being the best man.  Harry, on the other hand, was wearing a minister’s shirt with black pants since he was overseeing the ceremony.

I walked down the steps to hug the three lads waiting for me as they congratulated me on today.  Niall came down and I hugged him as well.  “We better go, we don’t want the bride to beat us,” Harry winked at me as I feel my face flush completely.  I can’t believe today is happening.  Today was going to be the beginning of many wonderful years.

“Yes, we should go,” I answered meekly with the largest smile on my face.  All of my mates were smiling as we walked out together.  I’m so happy the lads are here.  They make up for the fact my family won’t be at this wedding today.  I have a wedding for them too, but today the lads were my family.  We approach the gym that had white chairs assembled to form rows fit about hundred guests.

Most of the seats were taken by my club, but Perrie also had several friends in attendance including her bridesmaids.  I also can’t forget Jenny, Sarah, Eleanor, and Cara who all are sitting in the second row right in front of where the lads will be standing.  I walk to the center of the stage area that had a white arch in the middle.

When we walked in, the other lads’ girlfriends all waved at us and smiled as I made my entrance.  Harry took his position behind me at the very center while I stood by him off to the left.  The other three lads walked further left to the edge matching where Perrie’s friends were standing.  One of Harry’s friends that plays violin stood up at the start of the ceremony.  Everything held their breath as time passed.

Then I see my lovely wife approach us in her white dress and I gasped.  She’s flawless in her simple but elegant dress with minimal beading on the skirt and a sweetheart neckline that fits her perfectly.  Her veil framed her smooth face as it trailed down to her waist.  Everyone stood up as she came in with the violin playing the traditional wedding song.

Once Perrie was right next to me on the opposite side of Harry, everyone sat down and the violinist stopped playing.  Harry then proceeded to open the bible he had in his hands that I did not notice earlier as he lifted it up to read from it.  “Good Afternoon, ladies and gentleman,” Harry started.  “Today we are here to witness the holy matrimony between Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik,”

“I have known both of them for a few years now and I couldn’t be any happier to be the one who leads this ceremony between two of my dear friends,” Harry looked down at his bible and now I notice a sheet of paper.  Very clever, curly, very clever. “Today two of my friends become one being and they choose to live the rest of their lives together.  I know at least one of them is very excited,” Harry motioned his eyebrows in my direction.
